I had a very pleasant stay the staff were very accommodating and they let me check in early with no extra charge The room was very clean The coffee and tea stands were very welcoming and generous and also the tea and cake from 4-6 was very enjoyable I will definitely be staying there again

Loved the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was amazing each morning. Breakfast staff were friendly and willing to help! Loved the tea and cookies each afternoon. Would stay there again and would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Amazing! Never heard of this chain and was totally blown away with the friendly staff, hotel setup/decor/architecture and the comfy bed and wonderful breakfast. Definitely where we will stay again on future Charlottesville overnight trips.

My first encounter with the English Inn, I found it charming and inviting. Check-in and -out was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I may stay here in the future even if my Thanksgiving hosts *do* have room for me

Very clean, convenient and basic
Overall a decent place with a cute theme. My attention to detail didnt find any overlooked areas that werent clean. The two trashcans in the room were really small and my one fast food meal trash took up a whole can by itself. The TV had no signal right when i got comfy and wanting to relax and watch a movie. Everytime i turned it on it would go to no signal within 15 minutes. The rooms were updated but with cheap materials. The elevator and stairwells were looking like they were from the 70s. The provided breakfast was very good with a large selection. They kept cold water, hot water and coffee available in the lobby, which is great.
