Love the location. We’ve stayed quite a few times now. The pool is lovely. Eat at one or both of the French restaurants in town. Your belly won’t regret it.

The hotel was great. We picked it to be close to the outside mall. We did not realize that there was a drug and homeless problem right outside the hotel.

There ended up being a power outage that lasted over 2 hours. Not once did anyone from the hotel update us or tell us what was happening or when to expect the power to return. Not once did they apologize or even offer a bottle of water. For a 4 star hotel, I expected more. We will not be staying in Omni again.

Location was good in downtown mall area. Pools were okay but you could hear loud trucks on the other side of the brick wall outside. It’s downtown though so you trade quiet for convenience. There were used razors on the bathroom trashcan when we arrived which was kind of disturbing and the bed linens were basically cardboard. Our view from our room was of inside the building, the conservatory or atrium area. Not a huge deal except for at night when people are down at the bar it is soooo loud. Like we had a white noise machine and it still sounded like there was a huge party going on and there weren’t that many people down there. We were on the top floor, so as far as you could get from the noise. Not a great design for a hotel. Overall it was convenient and we were able to check in early which was nice. I would probably choose to stay somewhere a little less “downtown” next time, but if you’re looking for walkability and convenience this is probably the best option.

I recently stayed at the Omni Charlottesville for one night while passing through on my birthday. Overall, my stay was quite good. The check-in process was smooth and parking was hassle-free. My room was amazing, providing a comfortable and luxurious experience that made my birthday night special. However, I did have one major issue during my stay. The cleaning staff started working in the hallway before 8 AM, and they knocked on my door 3 to 4 times before my scheduled 11 AM checkout, continuously waking me up. This was quite disruptive and took away from what could have been a perfect stay. Despite this inconvenience, I would consider staying here again due to the overall quality of the hotel and its amenities. However, I hope the hotel management can address this issue to ensure a more restful experience for future guests.

perfect place to stay for the night when in town for a concert at the Ting Pavilion - just a few minutes to walk there and plenty of places for lunch, dinner and coffee nearby. Very courteous staff at the hotel and easy parking location on site.
