Detached 2 bed cottage with access to a shared, private patio with garden furniture and BBQ. Set in a secure walled garden, benefiting from the use of the 10 x 5 m pool. The pool area is surrounded by abundant honeysuckle. The terrace which surrounds the pool, is furnished with sun loungers and patio furniture with parasols. The garden has a full sized lined badminton court and boules pitch. The open barn provides shade whilst you enjoy a game of table tennis or just relax with a chilled glass of wine. Ideally situated in beautiful countryside close to Chaunay and the market town of Civray. Well placed for markets, supermarkets, restaurants and sight-seeing. The cottage borders open countryside and is perfect for walking, cycling, bird spotting and generally enjoying nature. Places to visit include Valley of the Monkeys only 20 mins away. Futuroscope at Poitiers, swimming lakes/ water-parks, La Rochelle and the beautiful Ile - de Ré, Cognac, Marais -Poitiven (green Venice), picturesque Angles-sur-Anglin, Chauvigny with it's impressive wild bird display set in the medieval castle.

Très belle endroit
Le gîte est très joliment décoré et très bien équipé. Piscine, ping pont, volley sont des gros plus pour occuper des adolescents. Un grand merci à Lynn et son mari pour leur accueil et leurs délicats attentions. Dommage que notre anglais n est pas été à la hauteur pour plus echanger

Holiday in France
Beautifully renovated, typical Fresh farmhouse property with a large flowery garden and huge pool. Two completely separate, tastefully decorated cottages with lots of privacy, bbq space and outside seating. The owners were lovely, very kind and helpful with tips of activities in the surrounding towns. Watersports, fishing, naturewalks, markets, restaurants and sunflowers. We had a very nice relaxing holiday. Thank you!

Au calme à l'escapade!
Très beau gîte tout confort (matelas un peu mou à notre goût) hôtes très discrets, magnifique piscine. Hameau très calme et reposant, pas un bruit aux alentours. Merci Lynn pour le petit colis de bienvenue. Nous recommandons !
