Decent hotel fairly close to Cherokee. The reason we booked this hotel is for the indoor pool and hot tub and the hot tub was broken this time or down. At breakfast, the pancake maker was broken as well. Other than that, it was exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn.

Enjoyable stay

Great Stay in the Mountains! We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Sylva, NC. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is perfect—peaceful but still close to restaurants, Western Carolina University, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth and easy. Our room was spacious and quiet, with all the essentials we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection—but we were a little disappointed not to see the famous cinnamon buns or pancakes! That said, there were still plenty of options to start the day off right. Overall, a great choice for a visit to the Sylva area. We’d absolutely stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

for 2 prior nights had been in Farmville Va in same price hotel that was terrible. I felt when I walked into this hotel like I was coming back home to the USA from 3rd world country and was being welcomed by the old DELTA AIRLINES RED COAT. This was clean , nice people and worth every dime.
