The hotel is medium sized but very good hotel. Good values for money. The location is very good, walking distance to the Sunday Night Bazaar. There are plenty restaurants, massage shops, money exchange, laundry shops, 7Eleven etc. nearby. Rooms are good sized with sufficient storage space and good lighting. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. The bathroom is medium sized, there is a good supply of toiletries. The shower hot water pressure is not stable making controlling the temperature a bit difficult. The room, actually the whole hotel is furnished with antique wooden furniture, which is admirable. There is a small pool in the middle courtyard, with no temperature control, so not useable in winter months. There is a small gym. The breakfast is mainly Asian, but there is an egg station with three types of cooked eggs. The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel is definitely worth a second visit.

This hotel is really beautiful, tastefully decorated, luxurious. The best one we had in Thailand, by far. The location is great, right in the core of the old city. Room was very clean and spacious, bathroom was great, well equipped, really no complains at all. The staff treats you very well and are attentive to every detail. I would def love to come back.

Lovely hotel
Perhaps one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The temperature of the water in the shower seemed to change a lot and had to constantly adapt the taps. Large room and bathroom. Coffee preparation space was a little small and electrical outlets were sparse on the walls but overall very nice stay.

Stayed at this property during the humid season of the year (June-July). Lovely and beautiful property. The staff was most wonderful and accommodating; loved the hospitality and kindness from everyone we encountered. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good selection from toast to fried rice and curry. 3 blocks from a huge night market so it’s affordable to find dinner. The neighbors and areas within 2 blocks of the property felt sketchy at night, but once you get to the main road, it felt better. The only complaints I have are rather light. Firstly, there was a cricket in our room (ceiling/filter) that kept chirping for hours; sounded like it was right next to my pillow. Secondly, the AC cooled from 30 degrees Celsius to 25 Celsius after running all night; I personally like to sleep closer to 21-22 Celsius so I kept waking up from overheating. And lastly, the beds were quite firm, could use a pillow topper to help my sciatica, but for those who prefer a firm bed, it may be perfect for you. Bathrooms were clean, they provided Singha glass bottled water for brushing teeth and Singha glass bottled water for drinking.

Kodchasri is very close to a gate of the Old City so short walk to the river area with numerous eating/shopping along the way and at the river. Rooms are modern and clean with fantastic pool. Large lounge w koi, super eating for breakfast/ lunch w service by the pool.
