Unable to rate the stay. Reservation line gave me instructions to book through Expedia so I could pay for my cousin's stay. But when he arrived they wouldn't let him check-in because he wasn't holding the credit card. They would make no accommodation despite poor guidance by reservations citing small print on their website. He slept in the Greyhound bus station as a result. Terrible experience.

Hit and miss
The overall stay was ok. However there was no ironing board or iron in the room, so no way to prepare my clothes. It wasn’t a big deal since I was only staying for the night but otherwise it would have been an issue if I were staying longer. The shower area is precarious and there’s a very good chance you will slip and fall since there is only a basic shower curtain separating the shower stall from the rest of the bathroom. This is definitely not suitable for older people or people who might lose their balance. One more issue is the toilet seat doesn’t stay up when you need to use it because the railing behind it is too far out. You’ll have to hold the seat up and urinate at the same time. Pretty annoying. Otherwise it was ok.

For as fancy and upscale as the place was, it was a shock to find that they lacked room service considering the full breakfast cafe on the main level as well as the rooftop restaurant and bar. Staff was incredibly polite.
