Great location and even better price. Our room was upkept well and clean! Only issue is there is no parking nearby, a 10 minute walk to an overnight garage.

Fantastic location. Walking to The Vic theater was easy as it's right around the corner. Also an easy walk to Wrigley Field. Dining in the area is plentiful. A train station to take you into the heart of downtown is next door to the property. The hotel itself is in a great location. The staff were very friendly.

We stay at this hotel almost every time we’re in Chicago. Everything you need in a hotel if you’re staying in the Lakeview area. Clean room and accommodating staff.

First the good: The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the bed was comfortable. However, this is just an old property that needs refurbishment. When we arrived on our floor the smell of stale cigarette smoke overwhelmed us, and it definitely carried over into the rooms. New paint and new carpet are also needed. Overall, not an bad stay but I would not choose it again.

Excellent location! The converted building, right in town was amazing. Being abke to walk out the front door and having a restaurant or bar, shopping or entertainment, transportation or sports directly accessible was fantastic.

Nice City Hotel

Very nice and affordable stay in the very busy Lakeview neighborhood. You can hear the train, so be prepared if you're a light sleeper. But as a former Chicagoan, I found somehow comforting. Also, great mattress.

Hotel staff was super nice and helpful. Parking was easy and cheap but make sure you get directions upon check in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Noise can be heard from the hallway but didn’t hear anything after 10pm and our sleep wasn’t affected. Close to metro which is convenient. Overall a really nice stay for a great price. Will definitely stay here again when we’re in the city.

Frozen Confines

Nice size suite for 3 people. Close to Wrigley. Highly recommend coffee shop next store called Pedestrian Coffee.
