My New Favorite Hotel in Chicago!
Fantastic. Every single employee was gracious, helpful, nice and smiled. Cal’s in the lobby was perfection. From the bartenders to the hotel staff to the security, everyone smiled and went above and beyond to be of service. I will be back.

Claridge House employees were very warm and welcoming. There was a variety of fun amenities, and the hotel room was clean, cozy, and cute. It’s a great distance from shopping and restaurants. Will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

Terrible staff
Hotel lobby is nice to socialize with friends. Staff is lazy and rude. The bar staff were extremely slow and inexperienced. The restaurant staff were rude, we ordered 2 large coffees waited 30 minutes for coffee and then served medium coffees with no apologies. The night bar staff tackled a 65 year old man while he was waiting at the elevator to go to his room. Totally not acceptable and ruined our night, police showed up and arrested the guest that was attacked from behind from the bar staff. Very unpleasant stay won’t be returning. Extremely unprofessional, could have been handled better. Staff member should be fired for inducing panic, the police could have quietly handled the issue without causing a huge scene.

Okay for a short trip
Overall the room wasn’t bad. The bed was fairly comfortable. Convenient to have a mini fridge and there was plenty of space. My only real complaint is that it was very loud. The noise from outside kept us up until 3 or 4 in the morning. Even with the shade down it was quite loud. We expected a little noise but we were on the 7th floor and the noise level was much higher than anticipated. We were not even facing the main thoroughfare. It felt like I was sleeping in the middle of the street. There were also some larger stains on the carpeting that would be easy to clean. Felt like for the price it was okay.

The staff was amazing. Our room wasn't quite ready when we got there, but they offered our dog treats and beverages for our group while we briefly waited. They were very friendly and attentive. Holly was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome! Thank you Claridge House for a great overnight stay! We will definitely be back. :)
