The location was excellent, and close to everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. But the facility is old and needs refurbishing. The rooms are not in comparable condition as others within the area and price range. The finishes are old, bathroom was in poor condition, the ammenities and TV are not modern. I would not stay at this hotel again especially for the price.

I like that there is parking on site, location is close to navy pier, river walk and millennium park they are walkable. A lot of dining options as well. There is a night social and Breakfast is a plus. Room is decent, we have stayed in a few embassy suites and room is always clean but this one for some reason the room we stayed at was not properly cleaned, found an opened m&m bag at the bottom of the bed and dusts in the room. Even with that we will still stay here.

The complimentary breakfast was really bad, line for an omelet was 45 minutes and the buffet was cold and lacking options. TV remotes did not work and there is no reason why cuts shouldn’t be able to use their own streaming services vs paying $20 for a movie.

Avoid this hotel if you ever have issues sleeping because of noise. The way the hotel is built, it is impossible to avoid extremely loud noises all throughout the day and night. All of the rooms face an open lobby, which echoes horribly. Then the elevators can be heard all throughout the hotel, even if your room is nowhere near one, and they alternate between thunderous movement and high-pitched creaking. The sounds of Chicago streets then permeate the rest of the room, completing the effect of inescapable noise. On top of that, there is the annoyance of getting to the room in the first place, which involves multiple elevator rides (one to get to the ground level of the hotel, then walking across the hotel lobby to get to the elevators that bring you to the room level). We also had an issue with parking validation. The first time we tried to leave the garage (which has in-and-out privileges), we were on a time crunch and discovered that the hotel hadn't properly validated our parking ticket. This resulted in needing to leave our car in an exit lane of the garage after speaking to the garage manager, going back up to the hotel to get our ticket re-validated, and returning to our car, which nearly resulted in us being late to an event.

Candy at the front desk was always helpful and pleasant. The breakfast staff was super friendly and made amazing eggs, cocktail reception gets a bit crowded but you can't go wrong with this amenity used to be the norm many places but now not so much. Great location, great staff, walkable to most sights and close to public transport. Also nice to have a whole food across the street for their hot bar and snacks as needed. Would definitely stay again.

What a gem in downtown Chicago! This hotel offers it all. Easy check in, manager’s reception in the evening, pool, sauna, convenience, walking distance to Navy Pier, across the street from Whole Foods, amazing made to order breakfasts with chefs, and breakfast buffet if you are in a hurry, rooms are spacious for a whole family or nice to spread out for two people. Can’t wait to stay again!

The mats they guve u for the bath not cery good slipped coming out on the mat no fan in bathrooms,thewaste baskets could have been a little bigger and one for the bathroom,maybe u could have hair dryers in the bathroom. The maps could be better they give u showing how to get too the attractions. someone down in the lobby in the morning needed to get a cab didnt know how to order ine had to find someone for help.maybe u could have a paper set up telling how to get a cab it mite help if they could have an app u can use. The staff most of the time was helpful. Except sunday with house kerping we waited for the house keeper to let know what we neededjust kept passing the room up i had to go down to the desk to ask for what i needed. for the most of staying and what u pay for parking maybe like some of the orher hotels they could offer discounts for some of the atteactions.
