We were offered a discounted upgrade upon check in. It was my birthday and we were excited to accept. The riom was spacious with an amazing view. Breakfast was delicious. My only complaint wasn't really the hotels fault but a little communication would have been helpful. We traveled out to the suburbs for a day trip. When we tried to return they had shut down the entire city for a Mexican Independence parade. Entering the city was not possible until 4am. Locals planned this fir months it was on every local news outlet for weeks, but coming from another state we had no way of knowing or predicting that exit ramos from the highway would be blocked. A small write up about what to expect slipped under the door or given with keys would have allowed us to sleep in the room we paid for that night rather then in our car on I90/I94. Otherwise, a completely amazing stay.

I booked a room with lake view but unfortunately they gave us room in the corner and only we sawed out 1/4 view of the lake. But anyway my daughter had so much fun staying in there. Hopefully next time we get a full view of the lake.

Overall it is a great hotel, and we enjoyed our trip. Most of staff members were helpful and knowledgeable. My biggest issue was with the house keeping. The housekeeper was quite rude and she did not fix our room several times although we never had a do not disturb sign or anything. We had our room like always, nice and organized, but a part of the service is to at list take our trash out, fix our bed and change our towels as needed. It was quite disappointing. I know that matter was escalated, but it did affect our overall experience.

Ordered a lake view room yes you could see a tiny sliver of the lake if you put your head against the window at a angle, should of never been a up charge for the room.
