Felt like a small boutique hotel in a big city. Spacious clean rooms. Was there for the marathon and there were thoughtful touches like early morning coffee in the lobby and to go breakfast bars and fruit for my family.

Stayed for 4 nights. Great location. Very convenient to everything. Bed is comfortable. Hotel is small, little bit noisy. Sound proofing is no good which you can hear people walking/ talking outside in the hallway. River view room isn’t worth the money because u can barely see the river from your window. Shower head water leaking.

Initially, the hotel staff could not locate our Hotels.com reservation in their system which was nerve racking at the time. However, they found it and we got check in with no problems. The room was great! We really liked the window seat view from our high floor overlooking the river. I would recommend ear plugs though as Chicago is a busy city and there was a lot of police/fire and ambulance activity.

First we arrived earlier than expected around 1230 and to our surprise our room was ready . Which was a great surprise! Then got another surprise of champagne and chocolates sent to our room for our anniversary! Awesome staff! And even better room, the window seating is amazing to watch the city! Definitely will be our go to Chicago Hotel!

Great choice for a special occasion
Celebrating a big birthday in this beautifully updated hotel so conveniently located was brilliant. The staff had a nice bottle of chilled wine and cupcakes waiting for us and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Little touches like padded hangers, a basket with yoga mat and weights, a window seat overlooking the Chicago river made spiked the charm even more.

Fine for work but not a luxury.
This is a good hotel for a business trip but not luxurious. They don't really offer room service and the only restaurant on-site is a Korean steak house which is fine if you like exotic food, but you have to order from a QR code and then go downstairs to collect it. The menu is pretty limited. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful but I would not stay here again.

Free coffee and particularly filtered drinking water is fantastic. We were also able to check in at 11 am instead of 3 pm which was really great. The lobby has a good vibe and free wi-if was very helpful to be able to get some work done. Free coffee / latte service is really good. Air purifier in the room and nespresso machine is also a bonus. Yoga mat was also very helpful to stretch on after the marathon. The restaurant is good also. (The only suggestion is to drop dollop coffee beans. That is not the hotel’s fault. ). Also the doorman was very kind.
