Room is good, everything you need, hot water and heater were good, shell gas station right in front if you need anything, and dennys right behind it.
2 things to let you know before you stay.
1. Some parts smells like weed, or you'll see people smoking in the hotel hallways, they have construction going on on the side of the hotel so it can get noisy.
2. To get to the train station you either walk 1 hour or get a uber (5-7$) everyday you plan on going to downtown, or there's a few bus stops, but they pass not too often. 1 hour away by train to downtown.
Overall is a good hotel, and the cheapest and nicest thing you could find in Chicago, it's worth it if you don't care being on the train for 1 hour, because everything closer to downtown you're looking at 350-1000 dollars a night.
