The staff at this hotel were amazing. I spoke to many who had been there 15 years - which shows in their care and dedication to the hotel. Spiro at the front was wonderful, and I felt like I was at a small boutique hotel with the care I received. This was my first time staying here but I will be back!

Great place to stay - especially for couples

The hotel was amazing! Always there to answer questions, make recommendations, or to fix issues. When we got there we got a free upgrade to a suite from a jr suite, as well as wine and bottled water. We also got a 2pm checkout, which was amazing because our train didn’t leave until 2pm. This is probably the nicest place I’ve stayed in.

Exceeded Expectations

I recently stayed at The Royal Sonesta Chicago River North, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location is perfect—right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore the city’s top attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views of the city. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made for a truly luxurious stay. The service was top-notch. From the moment I checked in, the staff was warm, professional, and always willing to help. They made me feel welcome and ensured I had everything I needed. Overall, The Royal Sonesta Chicago River North exceeded my expectations in every way. I would absolutely stay here again!

My stay was absolutely fantastic!! The staff was top notch, the CBR restaurant had great food and service as well, the suite was immaculate with the best and deepest jetted tub, and the free wine was just the cherry on top! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
