Great location & the staff were all very attentive & friendly. Loved that it was within walking distance to a lot of places we wanted to visit like millennium park, the river walk, magnificent mile & lots of places to eat. The train was easy to catch & a great bakery right across the street.

We loved the Silversmith. We err in town for college visits and found the silversmith conveniently located, very comfortable and quite lovely. Would stay here again, and definitely recommend.

This hotel was very nice and fancy. The staff was wonderful and had good suggestions on where to eat. Great location. I would consider this area the diamond district. Very safe but everything is very expensive for your average person. Two margaritas at the hotel bar will cost you almost $50. Lots of fancy places to walk to.

Great Staff, OK Rooms

The staff at the front desk and valets were great. Very personable and helpful. We weren’t crazy about the room. The pullout sofa bed was super thin, dirty and on an angle so your head was lower than the rest of your body. You had to sleep with your head where people’s feet normally go. In the bathroom, it looked like someone smeared snot on the wall near the door and it had been there for some time. There was an air purifier in the room, because it was an allergy safe room (which is a great thing to offer), but the purifier kept making weird noises at night so we kept getting woken up. Rooms are kind of drab. The gray, silver and tan motif makes it a bit depressing.

The king suite I stayed in was very comfy and clean with ample supplies. The best thing about this hotel is its convenient location, right on green line train, having a few tasty eateries close by, such as Flat Top Grill, Naf Naf Grill, Goddess and the Baker and Garrett popcorn shop etc. the only thing travelers need to be aware of before booking is that the building is right next to the elevated train track with trains rumbling back and forth the whole day. This is not a problem for me. I was high up on the 9th floor (total 10 floors) facing the street with elevated railways. I could hear the train noise loud and clear when awake. But people who are light sleepers need to consider twice. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel without reservation.

Great hotel

It is a great hotel and our room was super big, the only thing it’s when we walk to the roon the marihuana smell was heavy and on the room, the toilet was not clean. The restaurant, bar, breakfast and service in general 5 stars
