Our room 717 was so uncomfortably hot we couldn’t sleep. Mind you we didn’t ask for service we just dealt with it so they maybe could have done something. Thermostat was all the way down to 65 and fan on high and we slept with cold towels on us and still couldn’t sleep. This room had drywall mud in the bathroom but overall the room was clean. The rooftop is amazing and food was excellent. Could have sworn the site mentioned a hot tub and when we got there there was not one.

The Godfrey Hotel Chicago Review I recently stayed at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago and had an overall great experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the rooms are thoughtfully laid out with modern, sleek furnishings. One of the standout features was how well the rooms are designed to minimize hallway noise from entering the bedroom area—it made for a peaceful retreat within the hotel itself. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the amenities were top-notch. The rooftop lounge had fantastic views and was a perfect spot to unwind. The only downside was the noise from the streets. Despite being in a vibrant location, the sounds from the city below could sometimes be a bit intrusive, especially at night. If you’re looking for a chic stay in Chicago and are okay with some urban noise, The Godfrey is definitely worth considering!

Did not have an ice bucket in the room and the room its self wasn't very clean. Was told they would bring an ice bucket and ice bags the next day and never received during our 3 day stay.

Weekend of hotel disappointment
The window to look outside had a huge beam running diagonally across it. Couldn’t look outside. The bathroom window, which was behind another beam, didn’t allow us to look outside and there was no covering on it. The closet only had a handful of hangers and no dresser to put the rest of our close. We had to live out of our suitcases. The tv channel selection sucked and it had no smart tv. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
