Stunning hotel, nice comfy bed, clean and comfortable area walkable to anything I would want or need, but most of all the STAFF oh my goodness wow. I have never in all my life been so impressed by a team of hotel staff! All of them were so kind and helpful the entire stay. Especially David our bellman who had so many wonderful recommendations any time we needed them. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

The Viceroy was an excellent place to stay while we dropped off our daughter at school in Chicago. It is conveniently located, and helpful and friendly staff made the stay exceptional. We will be back for a future stay!

We stayed 2 nights at Viceroy Chicago. Before we arrived, I called and spoke with Conrad and female Cameron. Both were very helpful and answered my multiple questions happily. We arrived at the hotel before the advertised check in time and one room was already available. The front desk staff was friendly and engaging. David is the concierge and he is excellent. We stashed our bags in the one room and the front desk promised to text us when the 2nd room was ready. We popped next door to Velvet Taco - highly recommend! After a short time, they texted as promised and the 2nd room was ready. The rooms - wow! We were on the 8th floor facing south and we had elected to take advantage of the available upgrades from Superior King to Deluxe King and it was worth it. We received a complimentary bottle of prosecco in our room and the room itself was well appointed and clean. The entire staff are friendly and service oriented. David, at one point, was headed into the hotel as we were walking out. He asked if we needed anything and I said, yeah - a cab. He turned right around and was in the middle of the street with a whistle, hailing us a taxi. Now, of course we have Uber but there's something old school about hailing a cab. Every time you come back to the hotel, everyone, all the way to the elevators welcomes you back. Extra pillows we requested were delivered quickly. The male Cameron at the front desk was also excellent and worth shouting out.

Beautiful hotel, great little rooftop pool and bar! Ate at the restaurant downstairs, great food, awesome service. The front desk staff was attentive and fun! The area is safe to walk around and clean. Walking distance to everything or a short Uber to near by attractions. I will definitely stay here again!
