We stayed for 2 nights in July, 2023 around a visit to Chichen Itza. This hotel is obviously suffering until the second entrance to Chichen Itza is reopened -- it honestly felt like a ghost town there, and is looking a bit frayed around the edges. It was frustrating to be able to walk 5 minutes to the closed entrance, but have to catch a taxi to the main entrance instead.
Still, the rooms were clean, the staff was uniformly friendly, and it was a nice retreat after the crowds at the main site. I also rented a bike and rode to the nearby Cenote IK Kil (about a 5 minute bike ride), which was a great way to spend the afternoon after our Chichen Itza visit.
Also, the sounds of the frogs in the evening were spectacular!
