Goodwood hotel

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The bed was huge and very comfy. We made full use of the health suite, especially the jacuzzi. There was a good choice for breakfast. Grounds were beautiful too.

Shame once you are there!

Hotel is lovely but won’t be staying again, once you are there you are trapped into eating at they very overpriced, overrated restaurant, they say they have a grill bar but it’s like a coffee shop that sell alcohol! The pool was packed and had children running round naked! They have a lively picture of fish and chips on the details but never found it in any menu, drinks were very expensive, so much so, I drank a half bottle of wine and saved the rest for the second night! Overall very disappointed, from such a beautiful looking hotel and place!

We love the rooms. Large, very Clean and well appointment. food was delicious.Staff very professional, friendly and efficient. Especially at breakfast in the grill. The parking easy facilities all clean and well maintained. The only dissapointing aspect was we were away on a spa break and when we wanted to use pool on Sunday morning it was full of children having lessons and felt more like a leisure centre. Overall very pleased and would recommend to friends and family.

Excellent stay. Helpful check in, shown to the room. My husband has mobility issues and they checked we were ok with an upstairs room. Had been to a wedding at Goodwood House and everyone was down for breakfast on the Sunday, almost together. The staff coped brilliantly with the numbers, and even the rearranging of tables to accommodate.

Bigger than I expected and lovely location, we stayed for two nights with our dogs. The hotel was very dog friendly but the staff was inexperienced and young and a bit thin on the ground. The breakfasts were okay, when we got there many of the buffet items were missing including plates, fruit, yoghurt, etc. I found the bed and pillows uncomfortable.

Great meet up spot for friends.

Lovely location for a friends meet up. Beds were comfortable and food delicious, especially to the breakfast. Great care was taken to ensure we were well looked off. Pool was very busy with children sadly. So we made use of the hot tub.

Had a very enjoyable time. A fair distance to travel but worth it, perhaps some slight need for refreshing the room decor but in essence nothing wrong,. Nice attention paid to the dining experience, even poor weather couldn't upset the charm.
