LED lights, especially the wall thermostat, light up the room and disrupt sleep! The thermostat has to have a way to turn it off, as it is far too bright and hard to cover. The green LED on the GFCI electrical outlet by the sink is also bright but easily covered. The shower floor looks dirty, but it is just the texture. Otherwise, it is quiet, comfortable, and updated.

Rooms are spartan but nice. Bedding & towels good. On a very noisy highway, made worse by a guest’s idling diesel pickup & loud talking outside our window. Staff moved them away from our window, but 1:30 am the truck was idling again for 45 min. Very unfortunate, but not the hotel’s fault.

The place was very clean, front desk lady called us before our check in and asked if we were okay, which was beautiful of her to do so! We loved the breakfast and orange juice was delicious! Would stay here again if I ever go by Childress again!

Walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbor next door snoring all night and then talking the next morning. Only one door on shower??

TOO Noisy Sits on the curb of the Interstate
This motel sits 25 feet from interstate. There is NO soundproofing in rooms so all night big rigs shift up and down as there is a signal in front of the motel. Wyndham is foolish to put their name on just any willing motel AND 'we will call it a hotel. In this texas town beware that there is a Hilton accross the road and way OFF the noisy interstate.
