And on that bombshell…
Beautiful big bed but kept splitting into a couple of smaller beds through the night so not a true king size. Was mildly irritating. Balcony was a nice option to have a brew in the morning. Was told no booking available for the spa when we arrived. Was a shame as picked the hotel for that reason but was likely a popular spa location.

Loved the setting, the hotel was great bed was super comfortable and slept like a log right up until 7:30 when the cleaners decided to poor a bucket of bottles out and a group of golfers decided to have a loud mouth conversation just outside the room Other than that it was lovely and that would not put me off as I am sure if I was there more than one night it wouldn’t have happened every morning

Lovely hotel
Well signposted, large car park, helpful and friendly staff. We were upgraded and the room was very spacious, clean, shower was big. Facilities were good, restaurant available, we opted for pizza in the bar, breakfast was very good, many options available.

My partner and I booked a weekend at Cotswolds Hotel & Spa through Expedia, specifically selecting it as a spa hotel. We were incredibly disappointed to find out there were no swimming pool, jacuzzi, or wet room facilities. This was misleading, and we felt like we wasted our money and a much-anticipated weekend, as we were really looking forward to enjoying spa amenities together. To make matters worse, the rooms were not soundproof at all. We were constantly disturbed by noise from neighboring rooms, which disrupted our sleep and ruined any chance of a relaxing Sunday morning. For the premium prices charged, we expected a much better experience. Additionally, the hotel could improve on several fronts: 1. Entrance Lighting: There was no lighting outside, making it difficult to find the entrance in the dark. 2. Breakfast Service: The breakfast trays were often empty, with long waits for refills, which was frustrating. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay that did not live up to expectations. Definitely not worth the cost if you're looking for a true spa experience.

Fantastic stay, very happy with every aspect of this hotel and would stay again. We were given a room upgrade on check in and the room we were upgraded to was huge! Restaurant service was good and food was decent.

The room/corridor layout meant we heard everyone exiting and entering at all hours. The constant faffing of ppl trying to lock and unlock the doors (us included!) Was really annoying. Paid for late checkout and both mornings woken up my staff conversations and cleaning directly outside door, could that not have been done in the main stairwell. Considering spa is in the name, we had no slippers or robes whixh we expected in the room. Also an odd thing, but no roilet roll holder. Honestly got a crick in my shoulder having to reach round to find the loo roll so we left it in the floor. The shower was also damaged with atleast 3 dents taken out of the floor surface that were black and it looked like dirt but it was damage. Odd placement of TV. No real wardrobe so clothing visible, no way to control heat of own room, most uncomfortable sofa I've ever sat on!

Lovely room at the hotel. Lovely greeting from reception staff and very helpful. Plenty of parking Large room lovely view to the golf course. Nice soak in the bath and comfortable night's sleep on the king sized bed Handy for chipping Norton and the Cotswolds. Definitely return on way to isle of wight next year😁
