I chose to stay in a dormitory on one of the bunk beds. It was a pleasant stay. I found out from this stay that I’m quite sensitive to noise so any loud ruckus outside the door and any morning packing for check outs were tough. The staff were really nice and the area was super convenient for everything. Extremely walkable area, I felt like getting the bus pass was a waste. I think it’s a nice place if you’re looking for a hostel. They also offer hotel-like rooms too.

Convenience is the great thing about this hotel. It is a mix of hotel and hostel, but in great condition, more towards a hotel. Within walking distance to all things to see in Christchurch and good room area. Bad thing is that the shower is in a communal area, which may be less than ideal if you're picky about that specifically.

I was a bit unsure about staying here but I am so glad that I did. I booked a queen room with a private bathroom and it was a very comfortable, spacious and warm room. Despite being in the same building with youth hostel rooms my room on the fourth floor was very quiet. All of the staff I spoke to were helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for a great experience. Very convenient to the CBD and I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient location for our needs. Only feedback would be to get some CRC on the door hinges…woken often by other residents going in and out of squeaky doors and doors where the soft stopper didn’t work. Would also recommend adding some hooks or rails or shelves in the triple room…nowhere to hang towels or place items.

Centrally-located Christchurch hotel
Recently-renovated facility close to central Christchurch with reasonable prices. The rooms and common areas were clean, and the location is very walkable. Would be nice if the doors closed more quietly. Despite being "shared bathroom" in principle, the bathrooms were just right next to our room and didn't seem heavily contended.

Overall, really great. Parking is a challenge, and there is quite a bit of construction going on at the moment around the hotel. I thought I’d be sharing a bathroom with one other guest, but it was open to the whole hall / floor.
