Location was very convenient. However, the rooms were small and no wash basin in toilet but in the room which was bit of a nuisance. Buffet breakfast was okay. If you are looking for convenience with buffet go for it. If you are looking for bigger rooms, look for alternatives.

The Novatel was very conviently located near the buses also very close to the tram. The hotel restaurant was lovley. We had dinner and breakfast and where very happy with the service and food. The hotel itself was a bit older than I thought but we where very happy with our stay.

A Wonderful Hotel in Christchurch
Our one night stay was great. Staff were pleasant, room was clean and very comfortable and best of all was the fantastic buffet breakfast. Central location.

Great stay
Very comfortable stay, room was modern with the Novotel touch. Great central location so everything is within walking distance. Parking next door at Wilsons Parking was convenient.
