A great place to stay, especially if you’re leaving on a cruise! Spacious clean room that is very reasonably priced. Enjoyed talking with the proprietor, Simon, who gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant. Multiple dining options nearby as well as shopping. Continental style breakfast and the pastries that Simon brings in are outstanding! There was a fellow American couple staying there while we were there. Please disregard any review that they have left. I think they gave a 2star rating. They were the epitome of the Ugly American. The husband spilled an entire cup of coffee in the breakfast area and then did a half-a$$ed clean up. Also showed up 2 hours after the time they had coordinated with Simon, yet expected him to be there waiting. Just an overbearing American that gives us all a bad name.

Nice stay and would return!
Simon was communicative and asked what time I planned on arriving. He checked me in at 2pm and I was so happy to rest in the privacy of the room with its own bathroom. The location was perfect and close to everything. The morning of check out, I enjoyed espressos and pastries before heading on my way. Thank you Simon!

Nice room at first - but check in was a problem - no staff at times they say they are there. No elevator to floor so beware when you have heavy suitcases. There were nasty stains on the bed.

Property was in close proximity to the port and dining. A little tough to find on a side street. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was a little tight but great hot water and water pressure. The windows open to let the sea breeze in, beautiful. Close them due to the street noise.

Really hard to find! An old building, that the hotel shares with many private apartments. It is pretty basic, but clean. Big downside - the keys are attached to the card that works the electricity- and there’s only one. So if one of you wants/needs to go out, the other person stays back - in the dark! Wifi slow. Location great - for bars, restaurants, coffee shops. And a short (but very confusing) walk to the free cruise shuttle.

Huge garbage pile.. Like 20 bags by front door is unacceptable. No elevator. Had to drag luggage up 2 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast was poor. Coffee maker horrible. No lights until you get to top level of stairs. No instructions on how to get into building. Rooms in a tenament building. Room was clean. I would never go back.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Whatever you do, do NOT stay here. I based choosing this "hotel" off of the reviews on Expedia. As my son said, "They must have had their friends and family write the reviews for this place." A hostel is better. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. There was NO hot water in the shower. The toilets were disgusting. The "breakfast" is a broken coffee machine and serve-yourself yogurt and pastries. DO NOT STAY HERE. Check out time is 10am, and they make you LEAVE THE PREMISES immediately. It's awful. Absolutely awful. Never, ever, ever again.

The Guest House was located close to the port so we were able to walk with our luggage to the cruise shuttle buses.

Ideal stay over before a cruise
Ideal localtion with a 10 min walk from station and also 10 mins to shuttle bus for taking a cruise. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk from hotel. There are stairs to reception so be mindful when packing, there around 30 steps. Room was clean with very good AC which was much needed in july. Breakfast basic but ok for a snack before moving onto a cruise. Communication was good before arrival as they will be there to meet you when you arrive.
