A Slice of Heaven
Our four days at Mentor-on-the-Lake were truly delightful. The attention to detail was impressive, from the Q-tips to the owner personally coming by to move the trash cans. I particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the scenic view of Lake Erie. The sunroom was an absolute delight, and I loved the beautiful book collection. It was refreshing to have no televisions in two of the three bedrooms. Despite the sadness that brought us there, it was a lovely getaway—a true slice of heaven. The fireplace was wonderful, efficiently heating the entire house.

We enjoyed an amazing fall getaway - this property lives up to its description and reviews. That view through the sliding glass doors and the two decks - Lake Erie did not disappoint! Well stocked kitchen, extras like fresh flowers, toiletries in case you forgot something, books to read, and fun and unique beach decor. You can't see the sunset from the property in late October, but Sunset Park is an easy 5 minute drive and we saw beautiful sunsets there each night of our stay. And that hot tub - the perfect way to end a busy day, relaxing under the stars. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

Family Weekend At Lakefront Oasis Retreat
We had a wonderful weekend at our lakefront home. Everything was as per the listing--an immaculate, private, welcoming lakefront home, with all the amenities mentioned in the listing. We enjoyed taking a walk in the neighborhood, going to Headlands Beach (an easy 20 minute drive) and going into historic downtown Willoughby (an easy 15 minute drive) for lunch. The Lakefront Oasis Retreat is a great stay place that I am happy to recommend to others.

We want to go back!
We are a family of six adults — three couples. This property was ideal because it had 3 bedrooms with adult sized beds (no twins, or bunk beds!) We really enjoyed our stay. There is incredible attention to detail, fresh flowers, toiletries, beautiful decor. Up to date appliances and amenities. Our hostess was incredibly responsive when we reached out about a question about an appliance. She answered my message promptly and then offered to stop over. The location was gorgeous. Incredible view. Don’t hesitate to book this property!

Father's Day Getaway
I booked this home after surprising my husband and Dad with a charter fishing trip for Fathers day. The photos of the home were beautiful and it offered a private beach and it was pet friendly. The pictures are great but the house and location are spectacular!! Its truly lovely and we are already planning another stay. The home offers everything you could possibly need. Ive stayed in several houses and none have been as well stocked as this one. Its perfect for a family trip. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. The view was incredible.

Lake Erie retreat
My family stayed here for a week and enjoyed every bit of this house and property. We didn't miss a sunset or an evening in the hot tub. We loved sitting on the beach and watching the waves and enjoying going in the water. Everything was so relaxing. We went to Cuyahoga valley national Park and spent an afternoon in Cleveland going to the Rock and Roll hall of fame. If you want to relax and love sitting by the water this is your spot. The house is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need.

OUTSTANDING GETAWAY
We had a wonderful time, the house is more beautiful than the photos show. The little special touches are unique and unexpected. The house has everything you could want on your trip, from the awesome waterviews to the spectacular master bedroom overlooking the lake with a private balcony. Both my husband and myself felt like we had been at a five star spa on a tropical island, we enjoyed this home so very much.

Absolutely perfect! This is the rare occasion where the pictures are not as good as the reality. You have to see the place to know how good it is. The location is beautiful in every way. The thoughtfulness of the amenities is outstanding. Hope to stay here again if ever back in Cleveland area.

Perfect getaway
Family business necessitated a trip to the area. My wife and I planned a short getaway around that visit. My wife immediately fell in love with the house. The location was beautiful and we were able to enjoy sitting both inside and outside enjoying the views and sounds of the lake. As a matter of fact, a couple of our adult children are interested in renting this property on trips in the near future. Our communications with the owner were immediate and helpful. We have stayed at other properties owned by Pepper and can safely say that she goes above and beyond.

The house and property is amazing. The owners thought of every amenity including providing firewood, beach towels, beach chairs, an amazing hot tub, etc.. We spent a few days in Cleveland at the guardians game and the casino and it's only about a 30 minute drive.

Such a beautiful home. Everything was clean and welcoming. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub was amazing. It was an incredibly angry night for lake erie, so we couldn’t get down to the beach portion. The storms, massive waves, and incredible crashing sounds were amazing! It was so hard to go to bed because we didn’t want to miss the amazing show. Already looking at planning another stay. Words cannot describe! Thank you so much for allowing the use of this beautiful home!
