Very nice place to stay. The town of Cody, Wy. Is a clean cute town. I seen a buck & doe & 3 fawns walking in the town streets! Loved it!!

Inside lobby seemed without AC. It’s a 2 story but there is no elevator to the second floor. Property was clean, room was nice size and the lady who checked us in was super nice. One of the male desk staff seemed to be on a speaker phone call several times when I came through the lobby, I find this rude for someone staffing a desk for customers.

Old and over priced rooms.Paid $170 for satellite property far away from the nice main motel. It had 2 beds and each old bed in separate rooms. Motel 6 has much better rooms.

It was a one night stop over during a road trip. We found our mattress to be worn out, sagging in the middle, very uncomfortable for our liking. Otherwise it was fine

The room was spacious and clean and provided everything we needed. The plug sockets were, however, very dangerous because the plugs were very loose. There was nobody at the reception when we arrived after 3pm. We rang 0 on the reception phone and nobody arrived. We rang again and we heard it ringing outside in the hand of a lady chatting to other people. She walked in and answered another call, ignoring us. Before dealing with us she took another call ignoring us again. She then dealt with us with no apology. Not a good start.

Cody Legacy Review - Sept 03 - 06 2024
When I booked my stay for Cody Legacy it was for the hotel portion with a king size single bed room. I booked this out far in advance. When I arrived they had given the room out the night before to someone else. And said they gave me an "upgraded" room that was a building across from the hotel that was a 2 bedroom suite with queen size beds. The room was clean but very dated. Multiple heaters and multiple AC units. To a point that instead of removing the one no longer used, they just added to it. And the problem I ran into was the Split unit AC they are using did not work! My room stayed 81 degrees the 3 nights I was there. Very uncomfortable. 2nd issue was the bed itself extremely noisy. Any slight move you make it would squeak and groan. I'm 6'6" 220lbs so not too terrible heavy. Bed shouldn't make as much noise as this one did. And lastly was the shower head. I believe they need a new shower head as it has so much pressure. To the point that it felt like I was taking a shower with a pressure washer. The only reason I would not give this a lower star review is that at least the room was clean. And I have no idea what the hotel portion was like. The hotel side looked newer so possibly would have been better. Would I stay here again for my next trip out here? Probably not.

The staff was very accommodating. The property was quiet. We had an issue with the bed not being supported by the frame, and the hair dryer was broken. Both of these issues were quickly resolved by the property. The bed rails/frame were very dirty. Cobwebs on the walls. The parking lot had no to very little lighting. It felt a little unsafe. Overall an ok stay.
