we got a wheelchair friendly room which meant we had a shower curtain that did not prevent water getting on the rest of the floor in the bathroom between the door and the toilet. Patio slider was very hard to open. Besides the above comments the room was quite large and quiet.

Our stay here was short but made all the difference in a long journey. We arrived late by train and self-check-in instructions were clear and simple letting us sleep peacefully after a long day. Our one day in the hotel was spent marvelling and the beautiful surroundings, relaxing at the bar and enjoying first rate catering. While the rooms are a little worn in places by age (some wear showing in the bathrooms especially) they’re spotless, comfortable and everything worked perfectly. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and we felt really well looked after.

All the staff were polite and very helpful. The bayside bar and grill were excellent and accommodating as my husband is celiac and they made sure he was safe eating there. Will definitely go back.
