Wir waren vom 7 bis 10.09.24 Gast bei Steigenberger. Wir wurden sehr freundliche begrüsst und das Check-in ging reibungslos über die Bühne. Ein grosses Kompliment an Herr Kabbani der wieder einmal mehr gezeigt hat, was Gastfreundlichkeit bedeutet. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und werden das Steigenberger gerne wieder besuchen.

Bad experience all around. Reception never picks up the phone. No working WiFi. Was asked pack my clothes and move to another room, only to find out that someone else is already staying in the other room. No apologies from very unfriendly and confused staff, who needs serious training and maybe chose the wrong profession.

This was a very well located property with nice rooms however, there were no Expedia platinum member benefits offered to us. We had to pay for parking And breakfast there was not even a room upgrade offered even though plenty of upgradable rooms were available. The property just did not see any notes from Expedia asking for upgrades. We are questioning our loyalty to Expedia and its Hotels.com brand because it doesn’t not appear. Loyalty has any benefits.

The hotel was clean and modern. The location is very close to (literally a few seconds walk) the underground and surface trains. There are also a variety of cafes, restaurants, shops (including Rewe which is a supermarket) right outside the hotel. It is approx 20-25 mins leisurely walk totge Koln Dom Cathedral. We wnjoyed our stay in this hotel!
