Special thanks to Sandu, dasun and kausha in restaurant for sharing Sri Lanka experience and helping identify the wide variety of vegetarian options available at breakfast and dinner buffet. Location and ocean view amazing.

The hotel is modern, clean and luxurious but a bit sterile. The many high end bars and restaurants are all behind closed doors and there is no casual bar or lounge area to watch sport or have a coffee or a drink. The pool closes at 6.00pm, but a DJ pumps loud dance music into the empty poolside bar all night, which we could hear from our room many floors above. The only way to leave on foot is the driveway ramp, which has no footpath.
