Adorable sunny house in the heart of downtown

Small house downtown to do everything on foot (shops, bars, restaurants, museums and city close to 5 min / beach 500 m).
Tastefully furnished, you will also enjoy its garden and its summer terrace of 35 sqm sunny all day.
The house has been totally renovated and everything is totally new (dishes, bedding ...). We love to hunt and find furniture and decoration that have a history and atmosphere and hope you enjoy this choice.
The terrace is lovely as the sun all day (which is not obvious in the city center). For your comfort and your relaxation, deckchairs, sunloungers, parasol and barbecue are available.
In addition, we have commissioned a mural on the outside wall of the house by young local artists, making it a totally unique and exceptional place in Concarneau landscape.
The house is located along the 'green lane' (driveway Jean Le Bris) which is a hiking trail that runs through Concarneau and goes beyond since it is the old railway track which fully furnished. Access to the greenway is 20 meters from the house and peacefully lead the harbor in 5 minutes.
The piece living room-kitchen is ground floor and a window door gives direct access to the terrace. At this level there is also a shower room with WC.
On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms en suite. The first mezzanine has a bed of 160 and the second 2 beds of 80 can be assembled in a second bed of 160. The living room sofa converts to a bed of 140 x 200 and can accommodate 1 or 2 additional visitors. (The duvet, sheets and pillows are also provided for this bed if necessary)
Note that the stairs leading to the rooms is a little steep, there is a gate to the top for the safety of children, but access is therefore discouraged to people who have difficulty moving.
Linens are provided. Towels are optional at the price of 7 € / set / person. Thank you specify before arrival if you want this option.
We do not require cleaning fee because believe that our visitors may prefer to do it themselves, but if the house is not made in the initial state (or if you prefer to take this option), the fee is € 50.
Parking in the city center of Concarneau is paid from 15 June to 15 September, but our street and adjacent streets are out of the end zone. You will always find a free parking space in the neighborhood. In addition, the large free parking of the old train station is 5 minutes pioed. We will give you some tips on arrival for free parking closer to home ...
We put all our heart into the renovation and refurbishment of this house and hope you have a lot of fun to stay there.
Rental from Saturday to Saturday. Possibility of renting in mid-September to early June.
Note that the town hall of Concarneau requires a tourist tax which is 0. 55 € per adult / night.

Convenient Location.
The house is small and quirky with everything you could need. The outdoor space is neatly laid out with ample seating. It is situated within easy walking distance of the town and beaches. There is parking close by and we never had a problem finding a space. Access to the upstairs is via a narrow, steep staircase, fine for us but care does need to be taken. There are plenty of lovely, small, white sandy beaches to walk to; lots of restaurants and supermarkets as well as the nearby towns to explore.

Gemütliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit wunderschöner Terrasse
Das kleine Haus liegt im Zentrum von Concarneau. Alles ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Parken ist entlang der Straße unproblematisch möglich. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben gute Tipps für Unternehmungen erhalten. Auf der Terrasse konnten wir uns herrlich entspannen.

Maison agréable, trop prêt d'un lycée bruyant et d'une route très empruntée. Escalier accès étage très dangereux, trop abrupt , glissant et étroit. Maison en pleine montée un peu loin du centre et des plages.

🙋?‍♀️Deux semaines très joyeuses dans cette adorable petite maison très bien située avec ma fille et mon petit-fils.La décoration intérieure apporte une très jolie touche de détente et la terrasse est si joliment arborée...Literies plus que confortables.Nuits paisibles et petits déjeuners enchanteurs sous les parasols.Magnifique plage de Kernous pas loin.C’est l’occasion de marcher....Une idée, un vrai plus qui ne coûte presque rien à proposer aux locataires:une glacière pour les pique-nique sur la plage.Nous reviendrons,c’est certain.🙋?‍♀️

Das Häuschen ist wirklich geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet Trotzdem wir zu fünft waren, hatten wir ausreichend Platz, was wahrscheinlich auch an der schönen und großen Terrasse lag. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Strände sind innerhalb von etwa 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Das einzige, was uns ein wenig überrascht hat war, wieviel Verkehr über die kleine Brücke neben bzw. hinter dem Haus entlang fährt. Daran mussten wir uns ein wenig gewöhnen, ansonsten können wir die Wohnung wirklich empfehlen!

Wunderschönes Häuschen zwischen Ort und Strand
Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen mit unserem 8 jährigen Sohn in dem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Für ein paar Tage haben wir sogar zu fünft in dem Haus gewohnt, als unser 18 jähriger Sohn mit seiner Freundin bei uns war und fanden es ausreichend groß. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, so dass wir uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt haben. Auch in praktischer Hinsicht ist das Haus gut ausgestattet und es hat uns an nicht gefehlt, was wir für den Urlaub brauchten. Da wir fast durchgängig herrliches Sommerwetter hatten, konnten wir die großzügige und schön bestuhlte Terrasse ausgiebig nutzen. Die Lage des Hauses ist zentral zum Ort mit Hafen und Ville Close, den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und den verschiedenen Stränden. Die Kommunikation mit der überaus freundlichen Vermieterin per Email und vor Ort mit der zuverlässigen und sehr freundlichen Verwalterin hat sehr gut geklappt. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und würden das Häuschen jederzeit wieder buchen.

Schönes Haus in falscher Lage
Das Objekt ist mit Liebe eingerichtet. Wir waren zu zweit, mehr sollten es auch nicht sein - außer vielleicht einem zusätzlichen Familienangehörigen. Einen Parkplatz haben wir immer vor dem Haus gefunden. Aber das Haus liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Ein Schlafen bei offenen Dachfenstern ist nicht einfach wegen des zeitweisen Lärms, insbesondere durch Motorradfahrer. Für Radfahrer ist Concarneau nicht besonders geeignet (obwohl die Autofahrer ausgesprochen rücksichtsvoll sind), In Richtung Norden sollte man die Räder auf den Radträgersetzen und zu einem Ausgangspunkt fahren, um von dort verschiedenen Touren zu machen. In Richtung Süden sollte man die Fähre nehmen (1€ einschl Radbeförderung), danach ist gut zu fahren. Man muss aber die Räder durch die Altstadt schieben. Die Altstadt ist, wie der Reiseführer schreibt, schön aber rummelig, besonders zur Mittagszeit. Die Hallen und der Freitagsmarkt sind schön, aber es gibt schönere. Es gibt viel zu entdecken und man hat ja das Auto dabei,

Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft
Wir verbrachten zwei wundervolle Wochen in dieser Unterkunft. Die Vermieterin spricht sehr gutes Englisch und so kann man sich mit ihr auch als jemand, der des Französischen nicht mächtig ist, gut verständigen. Das Quartier war für uns als Ehepaar bestens geeignet. Das kleine Haus befindet sich an einer Straße, der Verkehr auf dieser Straße ist aber nicht weiter störend. Am Wochenende und am Abend ist es ohnehin ruhig. Hinter dem Haus befindet sich der Beginn eines Wanderweges, auf dem man auch schnell in den Bereich der Innenstadt von Concarneau kommt. So lassen sich Einkäufe und Besichtigungen gut zu Fuß erledigen. Auch die Strände sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Das Quartier selber ist liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Auf der oberen Etage befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer (mit ausreichend Stauraum), darunter der Wohn- und Eßbereich, das Bad ist ausreichend groß und offenbar relativ neu. Ein ganz großes Plus der Wohnung ist die große und geräumige Terrasse, die aufgrund des gutes Sichtschutzes geruhsame Privatsphäre ermöglicht. Wenn wir wieder nach Concarneau kommen, würden wir die Wohnung gerne erneut mieten.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in zentraler Lage
Wir haben eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Die außergewöhnliche Einrichtung mit viel Liebe zum Detail hat uns begeistert. Hier haben die Eigentümer weit über das übliche Maß eines Ferienhauses hinaus investiert und Freude am Gestalten gehabt! Wir waren zu dritt, aber auch 4 Personen haben genug Platz. Alles wichtige vorhanden. Das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei. Alles sauber und gut durchdacht. Die große Terrasse und der Abstellraum (für Wäsche, Strandsachen, Getränke) sind ein großes Plus! Das Haus liegt sehr zentral 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Markthalle/ Ortskern, 15 Minuten zum schönen Strand Les Sable Blancs. Hinter dem Haus gibt es eine ehemalige Eisenbahnstrecke, die zum Fuß-/ Radweg umfunktioniert wurde. Herrlich zum Joggen und Radfahren. Das Haus liegt an einer befahrenen Straße. Für die Nachtruhe war dies aber kein Problem. Parken oft direkt gegenüber des Hauses möglich, ansonsten 100 m in einer Seitenstraße. Concarneau bietet eine Vielzahl von Stränden und sehr guten Restaurants. Christine hat eine ausführliche Mappe mit Informationen zusammengestellt. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Pont Aven und Quimper gemacht, alles mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen und absolut sehenswert! Christine ist eine hervorragende und sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die sehr gut Englisch spricht! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !

Großartiges zentral gelegenes liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhäuschen. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin!
Nur 200 m bis ins Stadtzentrum. Parken (mit ein wenig Glück) auf gegenüberliegender Straßenseite ansonsten in Seitenstraße 60 m entfernt. Treppe ist zwar steil aber unproblematisch. Alles sehr handverlesen, liebevoll und vor allem bretonisch gestaltet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable à Concarneau dans cette petite maison de vacances qui remplit parfaitement sa mission! La rénovation de cette maison a été effectuée avec beaucoup de goût et l'on s'y sent tout de suite très bien! Mme Caudal fait tout pour mettre à l'aise ses locataires. Elle est très accueillante et prodigue ses conseils pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. La terrasse est un véritable plus: parfaitement sécurisée, elle permet, si le temps le permet, de doubler la surface du rez-de-chaussée. La situation de la maison est idéale, elle permet d'accéder à toutes les commodités en quelques pas, par la rue (qui passe devant la maison) comme par l'agréable voie verte qui passe derrière la maison. Notre famille gardera un très bon souvenir de cette adresse!

Fijne plek overal dichtbij
Het huis ligt midden in de stad en bevat alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is comfortabel en met een bijzondere persoonlijke touch ingericht. Op het grote terras met een keur aan fijne tuinmeubelen is altijd een geschikte plek te vinden in de zon, of juist in de schaduw. Op loopafstand vind je de kust, het strand, de winkels, de havens en de "gesloten stad". Voor ons was het een goede keuze. Het contact met eigenares Christine was erg prettig.

Hier stimmte einfach alles: Bereits mit dem warmherzigen Empfang haben wir uns in der Ferienwohnung wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das wunderschöne Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die sehr individuelle und liebevolle Einrichtung mit Blick fürs Detail.
