The room is new and updated. The beds were extremely comfortable and felt luxurious! Convenient my located near the local shopping and dining. Very convenient as an alternative to staying in Berkeley for parent’s weekend at Cal.

Checked in around 1am and was given a room that already had a guest, we both had an unpleasant surprise as I walked in. Then I was moved to another room that had been prepared for disabled people, not sure what the heck compelled them to give me that one, when there were plenty of other rooms, and, it was impossible to take a shower there given the bathroom configuration. Overall I seem to get the worse rooms when booking through Expedia.

The staff was fast, friendly and efficient. The room was clean. When we requested extra towels it was quickly accommodated. I wish there were gluten free options for breakfast, maybe hash browns to go with the bacon or sausages, but otherwise the food was great!
