Excellent location! Hostal is basic but has everything you need at a reasonable price.

The hotel is basically fine, but room condition is not as great as expected. The location is perfect for exploring the old city area, few minutes walk to the mosque-cathedral,and next to the tourist information centre and the bridge to cross the river.
Pros:
Can't beat the location
Staff was super friendly and helpful
Clean and comfortable
Wifi was fast and reliable
Cons:
Lots of noise from the corridors and the street below
Not much to the room, just the essentials, great if you plan to spend your time outside at the sights
Water pressure dropped for a few hours, not sure why, so the sink and toilet always worked but couldn't shower.

Good in the heart of the historic center but forget about parking
The room is clean and comfortable. Good hot shower and Wifi is stable. A bit noisy as the room faces the main street.
Take Bus No 3 (EUR 1.20/person) from the bus/train station to Puerta del Puente bus stop, which is nearer to the hostel, instead of San Fernando stop as suggested by Google map.
very bad service by the staff. while my stay, there's a group of high school students were staying on the same hotel. they have been VERY noisy. VERY noisy. my room was in the middle, between the students. from 10pm up till 6am, they have been running along the corridor, giggling and laughing. the room are small and even a laugh from the next room, you can hear it clearly. and we called the reception to ask for a lilttle help because it has been very noisy.. the staff said..its ok.. give them few minutes and they will settle down. but it was up till 6am-7am and they still run and laughing along the corridor. and they stop at about 8am where all of them packed and checked out. it is a very very very bad experience.
If you're going for comfort, this probably isn't the right place for you. The bed was uncomfortable, even with the heater on it was pretty cold, and the shower was spectacularly difficult to use (shower curtain doesn't stay put, water leaks everywhere, etc). However, for someone who really is only going to be in the hotel for a minimal amount of time and a minimal amount of days, it was definitely worth it for the location! I loved being able to walk out the doors and be ten feet from la mesquite. Not only was it convenient, it also made it easy to find my way back to the hotel if I got lost!
The staff didn't even acknowledge our arrival. No map offered, no wifi password offered, just keys and point 'upstairs, right'. And They took wrong details from our passport. The room was soooo noisy, we could hear plumbing from other rooms. The shower was broken we had to shove the plug in between the bath/shower lever for it to work. Worst hotel in four weeks of travel.
Take taxi to the hostal is easier wayThe closest bus stop would be 400 meters walk.

Great location but hotel could be better
Love the location of the hotel. right in the thick of it, next to the 'Mezquita' and restaurants. The hotel itself looks slighly run down, especially the corridors. It could do with a lick of paint. the romms are clean and comfortable with good toilet facilities. The food in the restaurant is is not great so i would recomend you head to the many restaurants around the area like the 'La Tranquera'. Great location, not so great hotel but for the money we paid it did just fine.
We stayed only for one night and for that it was very convenient. The airconditioning worked very well and it was a good night's sleep that we had. The location for Cordoba's sights was excellent. The only issue that we had was that we had a room that had no view, so felt a little claustrophobic and if we were staying for more than one night, it would have been tough. The washroom was very small but had all the amenities and was reasonably clean. Recommended for short visits and for visitors without vehicles.
The hostal is great value for money, extremely central, clean and comfortable. The staff are fantastic as was its restaurant al fresco. My carnivore friend had the best pork chops he'd ever eaten. I shall return next year to El Triunfo to see more of Cordoba and can recommend it to any reader of this.

Don't pay for parking in the hotel garage
Instead of paying for the hotel garage, there is a free public parking in front of the Eroski commercial center, 20 minutes' walk from the hotel.
"get me out of here!".
Overall - not impressed.
Currently difficult to find due to the roadworks. There is no parking at the hotel, it is a 10 minute walk away and €15 per night.
The first room we were given smelt awful, it had a small window with dirty curtains and a view of nothing but windows of other rooms. The second room we were given also had a funny smell, but this was more bearable.
Beds uncomfortable and the walls very thin, I hardly slept and was woken by a hair dryer in someone else's room.
We are a couple in our early thirties and I certainly would not recommend to anyone wanting a romantic getaway.
I though the hotel was very overpriced too.
On a plus point the location was very good, within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants and 2 minutes walk from the picturesque roman bridge - there is an abundance of wildlife over the water, we even saw an otter.

staff was very friendly
close to everything
room was little, simple things like a kettle were missing but they were friendly enough to give us hot water every morning
Overall a good experience!
The best location if your main intention for your stay in Cordoba is to visit the Mezquita, the roman bridge and many more. It is 5 mins walking distance from the bus stop if you were to ride a bus from the Renfe station.
The room is clean and averagely comfortable, my room has a small balcony that has a view of the Mezquita to the right and the roman bridge to the left.
The only thing missing is a hair dryer but I guess I am just too lazy to ask from the reception.
Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!!! Not expensive and great location.
