Great place!
We enjoyed the pond with swimming, Kayaking and tubing! We had a few nights of sitting around the fire and going a little more than a mile to town for ice cream. We visited six flags and Saratoga racing and a day of boating on Saratoga lake and came back to a quiet retreat in the woods. The house was clean and relaxing with everything you need to enjoy some downtime. We would love to come back again! I do recommend bug spray as a prior vacationer did.

Hidden gem!
Tucked away from the world, this property has all you need to relax in nature! Hiking trails, ponds for fishing and swimming (we caught a bass!) and most importantly peace and quiet. Conveniently located 20 mins north of Saratoga and 20 mins south of Lake George, we had so many options for activities and restaurants. (The Spot is a MUST!) The house itself more than met our needs. Downstairs a wonderful screened in porch, a cozy living room, updated and well appointed kitchen and a spacious dining room. Upstairs 2 bedrooms with queen beds and an updated bathroom. The AC worked very well upstairs as long as you keep the doors open. The windows don’t have blinds/curtains so prepare to be awake EARLY (or even earlier if you have a toddler like us!). Our 2 dogs loved having space to stretch out inside as well as exploring the various trails. Bug spray is a must though! We also liked that the various other campsites on the property hosted such nice people! It was great meeting other travelers! We really enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back and unwind again!

Nature enthusiasts will love Tall Pines Camp, ponds and trails.
I stayed in the spacious, clean, well appointed ADK camp for twelve adventure filled days. This amazing property has two large ponds for kayaking, swimming and some good fishing.. There are trails for hiking and numerous acres for exploring. The wetlands are interesting and the home of the Spring Peepers who start peeping at dusk. The flora, fauna,, fur, feathers and Fins kept me fascinated, sketching, and painting in the great outdoors for hours every day. The calm waters of Bullhead Pond and perfect for my many kayak rides and there is a new dock for summer swimming. The owners came a couple of days to work on the two new campsites and a new cozy cabin for future rentals.. Luke and Mark are friendly host and very ambitious property owners.. Tall Pines is a great place for adventure and exploring, for families with kids, but it’s also perfect for a solo traveler looking for a meditative retreat like myself. I had an amazing time and will definitely be going back to stay in the cozy cabin when it’s finished.
