Despite the name, the Wyndham is not a resort. Very outdated. No restaurant closed for renovation. Market shop closed for renovation. Hot tub did not work pool not heated. My room in the bathroom the bathtub was really not clean so much so that there was a long black hair wrapped around the soap dispenser, whenever I called to ask a question for clarification on some thing the young lady at the front desk was always saying I don’t know. Let me find somebody who can answer for you. Other than that people friendly location was great. It is just not a resort experience worst worst Wyndham I’ve ever been to .

This was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The doors to the room push open if the deadbolt is not secured. There is trash everywhere. When you get up in the morning there is trash and beer cans everywhere like there was a frat party overnight. Also, for being a smoke free hotel there are cigarette butts everywhere and I heard the bartender tell people it was ok to smoke at the bar by the pool. It is extremely noisy and hard to sleep. There are people slamming doors until 3 in the morning or racing down the beach doing donuts in the sand.

Good location, has promise with renovations
Enjoyed the stay. The property was recently purchased by Wyndham and is undergoing much needed renovations. Looking forward to returning if the rates are decent as our suite was not as nice as expected with a substandard bathroom, poorly laid out room that felt both cramped and with mis-used space and floors that had sand everywhere when we arrived. The chairs on the patio were disgusting so we didn't use them, but enjoyed the location, the view, the renovated pool and look forward to the hot tub getting fixed as it was neither hot nor had working jets. Also, one of the elevators was down the whole time and there were plenty of things that simply need renovations throughout the property.

We were impressed with the Family suite. It was spacious and nice ocean view. Would need some renovation but wasn't too bad. Staff was good. Very easy access to beach. Parking is additional $10/day plus tax. Which was something unexpected. Overall good experience.

This hotel has a lot of potential. It has a great location and access to the beach. However, the restaurant was closed, so no free breakfast. They were out of coffee in the lobby. One elevator of two, was out of order. After 10 minutes of running water, I gave up on it getting warm. We had an accessible room and the bed was too high. They did provide a step to access the bed. We only saw 1 employee at any given time of day, however, they we very accommodating. The indoor bar was not open. So 2/3 of the lobby was just clean but unusable space. We had to walk a long distance to access the outdoor area. Being handicapped, this was a hassle. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would probably stay here again and hope the management solves some of these issues.
