We arrived to see a sign announcing that there were no key cards for the rooms. We would have to get the desk staff to let us back into our room every time we left to eat, swim, go for a.walk, etc. On top of this this overworked woman at the front desk had obviously partaken in more than a little "liquid ibuprofen." She was slurring her speech, had trouble modulating her volume, and couldn't seem to run the computer correctly (I later went for an early morning walk and found her curled up on the lobby couch fast asleep). Our rooms showed obvious signs of wear, the breakfast was mediocre at best, and the pool had blood on one side and a large clump of hair on another. None of us were absolutely disgusted by our stay, but we all agreed this was not up to expectations for a Holiday Inn Express.

The money you pay to stay... my granddaughter who isn't picky. Wouldn't eat the pancakes. Tasted awful. Everything less then lukewarm. Elevators were not working properly. The one that did smelled awful. Stains on the pullout couch. Not impressed

I stay at a lot of Holiday inn express hotels all over the country. You can usually count on them being clean and comfortable. But no matter what I always use a disinfectant wipe and wipe down all the surfaces I think I will touch. Usually the wipe is clean. That wasn't the case when I used it on the chair in the room at this location. I also noticed that this room had a stale smoke smell which really bothered me.

Hotel is clean & well maintained, staff are friendly & helpful. I always stay here as it is close to the airport & the shuttle service is reliable. The only issue is the area is destined to have some homeless & drifters outside as it is located in close proximity to the jail & homeless shelters

Great experience at Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was clean and quiet, the staff friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to airport and Old Market area was a nice plus! The hotel is outside of downtown about 1 mile, but there is a nice pedestrian walkway and park that you can take.
