This was nothing close to a 4 star hotel. It had a bad odor in most of the indoor areas, the food options were limited and what they had didn't taste good. The facilities were old and outdated. The toilet leaked so if you went to use the bathroom at night, your feet got wet. The alcohol was terrible and so were the bartenders. The bed felt like bricks and the 8 channels they had were mainly frizzy. Lastly, the internet didn't work anywhere but there lobby. Do not recommend even for children.

Food was cooked twice of the same ingredients If you don’t give a tips in advance nobody care about you Poor English understanding from personal In the room sink and shower were in bad condition After 10 pm everything is dead mean beach were closed bar and kitchen as well At Christmas nobody inform us that we need book a table for dinner and personal kick out me and my gf and we went eat outside in downtown All inclusive mean half inclusive because loungers with mattresses for money coffee for money Or you need to go in restaurant in other side of road Prices for trip 100 or 70 or 50 dollars to see the city At least room cleaners personal did good job Never again trip there!!!

Great secure parking and easy walk to downtown. Plenty of dining options so you won't go hungry and for the price you won't feel bad to go to one of the many fantastic restaurants on the island. Fantastic staff that always goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

Cool place _ staff was great - Diego the entertainment director was cool and did good. Safe passage to the beach, nice pool area. Food pretty good for an AI. Beach area had steps for water access. They did have chairs and recliners on a sandy area with great views on the ocean. Walkable to souvenir shops. Good views of the cruise ships.

The property was a nice older property. The hot tub was in repair for the first half of my visit but up and running by the end. Biggest challenge was it lacked clear signs or a map for amenities, beach property, and meals.

Overall I would say that this visit was less impressive than past stays. The hotel was undergoing much appreciated updates, such as re-tiling hot tub and other areas surrounding the pool. That said there have been some other changes since our last visit in Feb of 2024, some nice, some that we are questioning. The hiring of a new activities director has brought a new energy to the pool area, some of which could (in my opinion) use some refinements. While the evening entertainment has improved greatly, the daytime activities still need some tweaks... Before an activity begins, the staff does their usual walk around the pool area letting guests know what's up and inviting them to join in. This is great, but if a guest declines they are usually met with either a sad face, or a "why not?"... It almost makes one feel like the staff is disappointed that you're not enjoying YOUR vacation the way THEY want you to. Very annoying. The music is usually played at a very pleasing volume, but whenever an activity begins, the volume gets bumped to a volume that makes normal conversation between guests almost impossible. We truly appreciated the efforts that Jesus, Juanita, and Suny put into bringing fun to the poolside guests, and hope that they continue to do so... especially Suny's unbelievable energy keeping the young children entertained.

We have stayed at this property approximately 12 times over the years. The good: Excellent, caring staff. Love the hotel’s easy access to snorkeling and its location which is walkable to shopping in town. We were pleased with the food on this visit and the evening shows were a great improvement over past years. The bad: A bizarre choice to remove dressers and table and chairs from many of the rooms. An indoor hammock is not very practical!

The staff were nice, The front seat girls were not helpful. There was no internet for several days. They were working around the pool, so there were pieces of tile and concrete all around. I cut my foot on a piece in the pool.

Property is nice. Food was above average. Service was very spotty. It was either good or mediocre to bad. In general to the service, it felt like a lot of responses to requests were “no”. We rented scooters and booted around the island, that was fun.

I’ve been staying here for decades. It has very slowly showed improvement since the Wyndham name was slapped on it, but do not expect it to reflect that moniker. It is a long way from ever becoming a luxury resort. I am in Cozumel two to four times annually and usually stay here because of Dive Paradise, the in-house scuba operation. The all inclusive package is not inexpensive and the food quality has varied greatly. This year it was just awful. Even the special a la Carte nights were substandard. My friends and I ate a lot more meals in town on this visit. There was a time, not long ago, when I would spend the entire month of December in Cozumel. The celebration of the holidays on the island is second to none. The resort prices have been greatly increased over the Christmas week to the point of gouging. I can afford the increase although checking out before those dates is my silent protest.

The resort is smaller which we prefer. Service very good and food was awesome! Love the location, can walk to shops and snorkel right at the resort. It is a bit dated, but we really dont care. If you like new and fancy, then not a good fit. Hope to go back!
