Iberostar Wave Cozumel Resort
Perfect for nature and wildlife lovers. Endangered Coati, local to the island of Cozumel and peacocks roam freely on the resort. Beautiful and cozy bungalows surrounded by a lush grounds leading to the sandy beach.

Loved that resort felt warm and welcoming . Very safe place to stay. Rooms were cleaned early everyday but AC could have been colder considering it was cloudy and rainy and still would not cool off. Went the beginning of October so not busy at all. There needs to be more beach staff presence. It would take 30 minutes to get a drink and then staff would come around again for an hour. There might have been 25 people at the most every day and the service was the same. Anna was amazing on the beach but didn’t work at that location every day. I didn’t like that they didn’t have robes and slippers considering there are no rugs so floors get very sandy. The food was absolutely amazing! The Mexican and bbq were our absolute favorite. Breakfast buffet was not that good. All and all I would visit again with my family and grand kids.

Great stay
Wonderful quiet hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Cozumel. It is a 25 minute drive from the city centre and the only way to get there is by car rental or a taxi that will cost $300MX. Although check-in took a long time, the hotel is well maintained, the staff are great and the food was delicious and varied. The Asian restaurant is not great so skip it. Lots of great creepy crawlers to keep you entertained.
