Excellent experience at the Iberostar which was a host hotel for the Ironman. It was an excellent experience and the staff were very polite at all times. Good was great as well! They opened the breakfast at 4am on the morning of the race - and the staff were just as pleasant! Highly recommend the resort - it’s a great experience with “jungle” vibe and animals.

The diving, snorkeling and pool are all great. The beach is very nice, service from every staff member was excellent. This was not the peak season (Dec-Mar) so there were not as many food options each day as we were have liked to have. Tacos for lunch are very good (though I would have loved to have fish tacos as a daily option), and lots of selection at the buffets. Very well made drinks, but not the top shelf spirits. Room and resort were very clean and again, fantastic service from staff to to bottom. If you are after world class diving, you will find it here. The on-prem Dressel Divers outfit is outstanding. We enjoyed our stay very much.
