Went to check in early as requested during a phone call but they weren’t able to accommodate, which I totally understand. Went to check in at 4:00pm, our room was still not ready. The hotel was not fully booked. The desk lady kept looking at the clock as if it was not quite 4:00pm. Said come back in 20 minutes. Finally got our room at 4:30pm.

The room was clean and in good condition. Linens were average, beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered was good but limited, Self serve. Staff was pleasant to deal with and accommodating. The property itself is a little worn down and in need of some upgrading.

Loved it. Great pool and slide for kids (and dads!). The Indian restaurant intrigued me, the breakfast was good. Take a waffle to go.

Property and room were clean, staff friendly, beds ok. Had butter chicken at the Tandoor and Grill, it was excellent. Room looked out on to the Elk river. Great value at a great price for a hotel in Fernie.

Stanford is getting old. Little upkeep being done. Bathroom floors/baseboards dirty. Shower curtain rod moved and holes in wall not patched. Burn hole on room wall just covered with plastic cover. Breakfast has terrible options - only fruit was green oranges.
