We booked a Seaview room with a balcony and the view was fantastic. The room was a really good size. Bed and toilet clean. Breakfast was average. We also dined in the sky bar for Valentine’s Day and the food was lovely. The only thing is there was no caulking between the shower bath and the walls so all the water that went down the crack would run along the floor towards the toilet where the drain was. The floor just ended up really wet. Apart from that everything was great.

We had a wonderful time at Diamond Sea. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything went well. Mia was particularly helpful in scheduling drivers and ensuring that our needs were met. Only downside was that our Junior Suite window looked out at the wall of the hotel next door. Our bathroom window, however, had a great view of the city. Since we were rarely in our room, this was not a problem. Thanks, Diamond Sea staff.

The staff make this hotel! They are all from the front door, reception and cleaners excellent! The pool area is nice and well maintained, with a lovely view out to sea, if you go through the bar there is another balcony looking over the city and Dragon Bridge. Our room was sea front with a balcony. Good sized room - mattress very hard! The sound proofing is zero from next door to people outside in the corridor. Breakfast was below par, a lot of the food is very unhealthy, all deep fried or cakes, pastries and sweet things. Coffee machine churns out half a cup of cold coffee! They didn’t change the variety - just the same options every day, especially the fruit selection. This wouldn’t put us off staying here if we were going to be in DaNang again.

Unfortunately, our first night there was unforgettable. We traveled from Hoi An to Danang, and spent the day at Marble Mountain. We checked into hotel, and our room was on16th floor. We went to dinner and then back for a much needed sleep. At 10 pm, we were awoken by very loud DJ music. It was coming from the hotel’s pool area on the roof top. The hotel sold tickets for a New Year’s Eve party! The music was so loud it was vibrating the window! Around 11 pm, I went down to lobby and asked to speak to manager. I told him that we should have been fair warned ahead of time, and would not have made reservations there. I also told him I paid for a room to sleep in and that I could not sleep. He offered to move us to the 6th floor. I laughed because we were in the lobby and we could hear the music, so it wasn’t advantageous to move. I also said that there is only an hour left to go…. and he said nothing. Well, it went on until 12:45 am. We were exhausted the next day. At breakfast, all guests either looked extremely tired or very hungover. Some were sleeping at their table! I asked the manager to reimburse us for the night since the hotel did not uphold the contract. I was offered a massage instead. I told the manager no massage and just want to be reimbursed for 1 night. He said he would talk to upper management. I still have not seen any credit on my charge card. This made the remaining 4 days uncomfortable. As for staff, thumbs up to Lyla.

Great Hotel by Beach

We wanted a hotel with an ocean view and a good breakfast. This hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with arrangements. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Every day had some new variety of food, not always the same dishes from day to day.

The Staff went above and beyond to make us feel Welcomed! They gave us excellent recommendations for local favorites. Staff was extremely Friendly and awesome. We got an ocean view room and LOVED it. Super clean, Quiet and Spacious. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this Hotel. Convenient for walking, exploring and enjoying Da Nang.
