The property was impeccable, very artsy, unusual decor however, I found the rooms to be quite dark with not enough lighting. They could also use a real coffee machine, such as an espresso, not the old-fashioned style that that did not even work… I did not get a chance to try all the dining options unfortunately nor did I get a chance to visit the pool or the spa

The Joule was a pure dream. I didn’t want to leave the property. From the moment we arrived, we received 5-star treatment. The staff was super friendly, the property was extremely clean, and the room was immaculate!! The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown which was convenient to a lot of attractions and nightlife. This is definitely my go-to hotel when I visit Dallas.

This was our first experience of The Joule in Dallas. The hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations. It is right in the heart of downtown, has exceptional dining inside and within close walking distance as well. From now on this will be the only place i would even consider staying in the Dallas area. Thanks again!

Beautiful 5-star hotel with extra charges for everything. Luxury for us is having a coffee maker in our room but this only has a coffee shop in the lobby. These rooms are expensive and yet you are charged extra if you use the stocked fridge and snacks in your room. $5 for a pack of M&M’s no thanks. Be ready for the $200 “incidental charge” they will place on your CC. I had already paid for our room through Hotels.com yet they charged my card again. Thankfully Carlos the assistant manager was kind & fixed this for me. Overall it was a lovely stay if you don’t mind being charged for anything you touch.

They claimed my room had a king bed but it was definitely a queen-sized mattress. My shower was cold despite running it for 10 minutes. There was a stain on one of the pillowcases. When I asked the front desk they denied it. Everything else about the property was fine. The rest of the staff was nice but the amenities and food was mid. My room was the worst part. The spa was decent!
