The property is wonderful. Very old world traditional. I had stayed there many times about 5 years ago. What’s different now is the parking. Between the $50 a night valet… and I had two cars and the tips.. it was just annoying… and expensive. The library… or hotel bar casually sophisticated and we had tons of fun there… but definitely look at the hidden fees incurred with your booking… I just find it irritating to not be up front about the pricing structure and annoying to incur hidden fees.

This was an overall nice property to stay at. Our room was on the 7th floor and the air conditioning wasn’t cooling properly. Fortunately it wasn’t too hot outside. This is a safe area convenient to lots of restaurants and coffee shops.

This hotel is a landmark hotel that has been there for years. It's in great condition, large rooms, comfy beds, nice pillows, very clean and super helpful staff. The only downside it is that it's extremely noisy with thin glass windows. It is located on 2 very busy streets with a main light intersection. The fire hall is on one of the streets and it's also on the flight path so planes are going all day & night. Bring earplugs

Beautiful historic hotel, well maintained, perfect location, great for a weekend getaway. Staff were suburb and there was a lively bar scene at The Library both nights we were there.

I booked a reservation through expedia for the night of because I was on a work trip and my boss booked the reservation for the wrong dates so I quickly needed to find a new place to stay for one night. I booked this hotel as it was available on Expedia. When I got there, the front desk staff was quite rude and told me they “Closed the house” and I had to call expedia and get my money back. I asked to speak to the manager and they came back 5 minutes later and gave me a room. It was not a great experience, and obviously they had rooms available. I stayed for one night, the hotel was fine except for rude front desk staff and the room was outdated. Also only valet parking available. I would not stay there again.

Water pressure was terrible. Room didn’t have an extra blanket and took them two calls and over an hour to bring another one. The location for us was excellent but I would pay more for a more up to date facility.
