The property was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable. The only criticism is the noise. The rooms only have cheap carpet squares with absolutely no padding, so we could hear every step from the room above. Late at night and it woke us up early in the morning. And I’m sure the people under us could hear every step we took also. We never heard one sound from the rooms on either side (and it was full) but only the footsteps from above.

The hotel needs some updating. Carpet stains, grouting in bathroom needs repairing. We were not impressed by the front desk employee. Poorly groomed, no greeting, no smile and wasn’t exactly sure how to handle my reservation through Expedia.

Disappointing
Check in was delayed because the room wasn't ready (we were told they were short-staffed in housekeeping) which was fine - we squatted in the lobby. However, there were things missing from the room (extra pillows, blankets, coffee cups, water, cups, coffee), so I had to call down to the front desk. I had to call the front desk several times to get the extra pillows/comforters before we could go to sleep (took about 3 hours to get them) and was told the hotel was out of coffee cups :-( (how does that happen at a hotel??)

I would definitely stay here again for several reasons. The doors shut quietly, so no slamming. Beds and linens were good. The bed was not wobbly. Shower very large and roomy and large bathroom counter. The breakfast was much better than I expected, with yogurt, eggs, sausage, potatoes, non-instant oatmeal. There were healthy options.

The carpet is filthy in the room and the hallways. Stained and haven’t been vacuumed in forever. The bathroom, specifically the shower area, had mold and buildup in the corners and outside the doors. The soap dish on the sink had soap build up on it. The towels smelled. The housekeeping is seriously lacking. You could hear people stomping on the floor above you so it was hard to get to sleep. The walls were paper thin.

I've stayed here before. Centrally located in Xenia. Close to shopping and plenty of restaurants. Descent breakfast options. Great staffing. Just minutes from Central State University, Wilberforce University and the Afro American Museum. I met a few guests who said the bike trails were good. I travel alone and feel very safe here.

Works had family in the offices with kid’s running around. My room was not vacuumed. My sheets did not smell clean. I went to Walmart to get Lysol wipes and Clorox wipes to clean the room myself. I had teenage kids flying in and asked to make sure the room stays open and they gave it away. Had to put my kids down the hallway
