Nice location close to the center of beach life. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The TV had a tuner issue where it kept cutting out. The bathroom had a light bulb that kept flickering. Since we didn't spend a lot of time in the room it wasn't a really big deal for us.

The staff went above and beyond with their customer service. Outside of them, this hotel was a Poor representative of an IHG property. Our room had consistent problems with our toilets refill valve. Our bathroom door handle seperated. This was repaired by staff. The refill problem was never solved by staff, but my wife and I took the tank top off and tapped the refill valve which allowed it to work properly. The room was in need of a severe update. We normally stay at IHG properties when we travel, but this will make us look harder for any future travel plans. .

Staff at front desk seemed annoyed to have to check us in and even worse upon checking out except for the young man who was helpful in the end. Otherwise front desk staff Not friendly at all. Property is not well maintained. Elevators not working with no notice posted. This is a very tired hotel in need of repair in rooms and throughout. Bar and restaurant is good and the staff were great! Pool deck area has so much potential.

The only redeeming factor was it was Oceanfront. The room had an overwhelming musty/moldy smell. It was cold outside but we had to sleep with the balcony door open so that we could breathe. We still got sick. In the evening only one elevator was working. Parking is terrible

We chose this hotel because we had had great stays at other holiday inn hotels. I wish I could go back and pick the hotel next door. The parking was inconvenient, the common areas had an odor, only 1 of the 3 elevators was working and was very inconvenient to our room. The bathroom had mold in it they over charged me for the resort fee and and incidentals upon check in and there were unruly people who were not guests loitering in the lobby. The bed were uncomfortable, the carpet was nasty and crunchy and we lost internet and cable about an hour after we arrived until morning.

Had to take a cold shower and when I called the front desk they said “you have to let it run for up to 30 minutes” The cockroach in the closet was a nice touch. That thing belongs in a petting zoo. And how do you run out of blankets? The bar staff was great.
