Great place to stay
The Artisan is so much more tyan i expected. The doors can be a little sricky, its an old hotel after all. Ours would not open at all, so they moved us to a Suite due to the difficulty. Since this was for my partners Birthday, the young man at the check in desk gace us a bottle of wine to celebrate. The bed was comfortable and the black out curtains are just that, Black out. No light will bother. We plan to stay here the next time we are in Deland

This place is an absolute gem. Perfect location. Beautifully renovated historic hotel. Growing up in DeLand, this place sat empty for years so I was very excited to be able to finally see it brought back to life and it did not disappoint!

Comfortable quiant older and well maintained boutique hotel with attached bar and a separate Cuban restaurant. Seemed popular though I didn't have time for it. Drinks were good and reasonably priced

The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft. They had a drink stain on them that I am hoping was a stain and not just dirty. The room smelled really musty. The restaurant was great for breakfast. We will probably find a different hotel next time.

Staff were great and had nice restaurant recommendations. The room was much larger that expected and nicely furnished. Bed was comfy and the bar served good drinks. Will definitely stay here again.

Older hotel with insufficient parking. If you are a light sleeper the road noise will definitely bother you. Nice room on second floor. Old fashioned key to enter your room and front door locks at 9:30 pm, so you'll need the passcode to get in. No pool or amenities. Friendly staff. But not really worth the price. Probably won't be back.
