This was a clean secluded cabin with everything we needed and wanted in a vacation rental.

We had no problem getting to the cabin, the creek on the property was beautiful it made for a great little walk everyday. The hot tub and fire pit was very nice. We had WiFi & TV when needed, but spent a lot of time enjoying the front porch. There is Wild life everywhere and beautiful flowers! It’s so nice to find a place we can take our dog. We had everything we needed for cooking, the bed was comfy. It’s also close to some beautiful hikes and waterfalls!

We throughly enjoyed our relaxing time away. The hot tub was so relaxing, the beds were very comfortable, the farmhouse was very nice and had plenty of nice touches. Better than home!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Curtis Creek Farmhouse. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was so relaxing. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs and watching the birds at the bird feeder. Dogs loved zooming all over the yard and walking the creek bed. We will be back again!

Quaint, Peaceful, Relaxing

Marla is very well organized, and made sure every little detail was taken care of, so that guests could have a carefree, relaxing stay at her property. The house was quaint and well maintained. Where the house is located is perfect, as it allows guests to enjoy nature without all the hustle and bustle of a busy lifestyle. You can get lost in nature and unwind. It allows you to reconnect with family and regain your grounding. There are many adventurous spots nearby to go hike and enjoy your day, without centuring too far away. We really enjoyed our stay here because she created an envirnment that brings convenience and nature together. Thank you very much! It was a delight!

We loved the cabin, it was so cozy and quiet It was the relaxing vacation we needed. The host were very helpful and left lots of great tips about the area. Very nice piece of paradise to take the family to The hot tub was amazing after a long day out in the sun.

Solar eclipse get away

Absolutely perfect place to get away to nature and seclusion. A mix of old style life with moder amenities. Love watching the cows on the farm and all the birds and butterflies. We stayed for the solar eclipse and it was the perfect spot. For the experience. Would definitely like to stay again!

Amazing Find!

We randomly picked to visit the Ozarks as a Christmas family vacation and this house did not disappoint!! We wanted a place we could bring our dog, where we could truly just relax and be, and explore the beautiful Ozarks St Francis National Forest. Marla truly thought of everything. From all of the basics being supplied that covered our entire week, to plenty of plugs/USB ports upstairs and downstairs. She was also very communicative and answered what felt like a bazillion questions I had. The property was so peaceful - I loved enjoying my coffee on the front porch, and relaxing in the hot tub after our long hikes. Our dog enjoyed being able to run around, and it was fun "talking" to the cows while we were outside. Since we had our dog, we couldn't do the Lost Valley trail (a recommended one by Marla), but we did do the following, and loved them all: Alum Cove Natural Bridge, Glory Hole Falls (both of those were also recommended by Marla), Magnolia Falls and Fern Falls. Our whole family, including the dog, were fans. We loved Jasper Pizza, Low Gap Cafe, Harp's Grocery was handy, and the little gas station in Deer was great for a little candy bar and chip treat. We grabbed a Walmart order pickup in Harrison AR, to get our groceries for the week. Thank you for providing the perfect place for our family vacation before our oldest goes off to college next fall! I highly recommend this area of Arkansas, and this house, for a winter family trip!

The Perfect Stay!

My husband and I told our kids we were booking a cabin as a Christmas present. Out of all we looked at, Curtis Creek Farmhouse stood out. I was blown away by the cleanliness of the cabin. As well as every small detail was thought of. Truly anything you could think that you might have forgotten at home they have you covered. My kids said the old school nintendo and seeing cows next door to us was their favorite part. Mine? Being able to see the entire night sky! We definitely don't see that in the part of Arkansas we live in. This visit was so peaceful and lovely. I hope we book again next year. The cabin is a wonderful mix of rustic and modern. Don't even think twice about booking here. Do it! I also appreciate how great the communication was with Marla.

My husband and I are so swamped at home that we needed a place to just relax for our 43rd Anniversary. This place was perfect! The host had everything you would need. You can tell everything was carefully chosen for the comfort of the guest. It would be a great place for a family but perfect for a couple needing time away. The house, yard, hot tub and fire pit were extremely clean. We loved that it was off the beaten path. The scenery was beautiful!

The best cabin!

I had such a wonderful stay at this property. It is quaint & tucked away down a country road. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cabin was well appointed. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the area. I frequently book VRBOs and this is simply one of the BEST!

Tranquility with 5 star accomodations

Very nice place with all the necessities and more. Perfect Fall weather and spectacular foliage colors with abundant wildlife. Hot tub was very relaxing after hiking Smith Creek - Buffalo River area. Newton County is my favorite location in Arkansas with the Best wilderness areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was so peaceful there. The house was nicely furnished, and we appreciated all the extras. We enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub and walking our dogs down the country road. Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to go back in the spring.

Great place

We have stayed at several places around Deer and Limestone and this has been the best so far. Very clean and everything you need plus some. They even had extra toiletries in case you forgot something. Close to all the trails for SxS riding that we love to do. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra bedding if you need it.

Best place we have stayed in the Midwest!!

Super clean, great pans and kitchen, outdoor grill for your culinary creations. More than anything this property will give you a peaceful easy feeling since it so private. It is accessible to miles of backroads in the National Forest. I would give it 10 stars if i could, A TRUE GEM
