Very convenient to DIA and free shuttles were awesome (both drivers we had over our stay were awesome and so, so helpful with info and airport tips). Lots of food options within walking distance (shared parking lot) and 2 gas stations right there.
Check-in was disappointing and initially I thought we had made a mistake as a result. The two front desk employees, after we waited in line for about 10 minutes (not their fault) did not greet any of the people checking in, continued to talk to each other about an issue with a third person, and just generally gave us the impression they were annoyed by having to check us in. They didn’t offer any additional info (aside from breakfast times) and appeared reluctant to help when I asked additional questions about shuttles and locations (thank goodness the shuttle driver had been so helpful). They assisted someone who walked straight up to the desk, despite a considerable line of people who had been patiently waiting. 2 of us checked in for a 2-person reservation, and when we got to the room discovered they had only given us 1 key. And when my daughter and I first walked up to the counter for our turn to check in and stood in front of the employee on the right, the employee on the left immediately said to my daughter “um, I’m going to need you to move over” in a very dismissive and unprofessional tone.
The next morning, we spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to lift the blackout blinds. I finally went down to the front desk and
