Although it states its a non smoking hotel, upon arrival all you can smell is marijuana. I don't mind it as my wife is a medical card holder but I'm sure others may mind. The staff and man who checked me in was helpful and nice. No issues there. I didnt see much of the hotel besides the front desk area and our room. The front desk area looked decent. The room however smelled terrible like old and musty. The carpet needs to be cleaned very badly. It turned my feet black. The tv is older and took awhile to turn on. Mostly everything is old in there and the chair in the room had a cover over it. The bed was super uncomfortable. It sinks you in so if you have a bad back you won't be getting up out of it. The room could use a dehumidifier too, it was very damp in there. The carpet was wet feeling and the bed as well. There was also a guy outside of our room eyes closed drugged out standing up at 2am. We got the room only for one night and it was only to sleep mainly. We went to the Lions game and got back late. It wasnt too far from Ford Field. Took about 10 minutes. We didnt want to spend $500 for a room to sleep in so we chose to stay a bit away from the stadium. We got a good nights rest despite the issues. We were exhausted. If we werent, the sleeping situation would have been tough. Whoever was above us was pretty loud stomping around too. Other then that we didnt hear anything. Probably wont stay at that hotel again.

I really pretty clean and the bed felt safe to sleep in. One neighbor banging on something one morning and a couple crack heads running around but felt safe. Extended my stay twice.

I went to Tennessee on vacation, and spent over $600 on a room for 2 nights. NO COMPLAINTS. But when we got home to Michigan it was 2 or 3 in the morning, and I live over an hour away from my girlfriend, who has to be up at 7 to get her kids to school. So I went on hotel.com to get a room for me so she didn't have to spend another 2 hours driving back to my home, and car. When I got to the hotel, they said I didn't make a reservation. I guess since it was after a certain time the reservation is for the next day. She wouldn't just check me in anyways and then charge you the next day. I stead I lost my money, hotel.com won't give me a refund, I stayed the night in a cheap nasty ass hotel that I could afford after an expensive trip. I will never use hotel.com again if I don't get a refund. I didn't stay in the room, even though I arrived there. It was late, I was tired, and I didn't realize that when I reserved it it was the 23rd to the 24th instead of the 22nd to the 23rd because when I looked at the date on my phone it said it was the 23rd because it was after midnight. That's kinda tricky, especially after driving all day and night home. I'm not happy

We enjoyed everything about the stay. Room and all, it was just the greeting of staff and attitude? We’re from Minnesota and in a work place to communicate with the public and it’s our first day there? How were we to know ? Y’all use bags to use to get ice? No bucket in our room? But overall we were happy

had to ask for a Do Not Disturb sign. only one socket of lamp that had 2 sockets on each side of bed worked. Hotel card Key entry on the 3rd floor had a noticeable non-working entry lock that did not work. Side panel of lock mechanism for lock appeared to be removed which made me feel a bit unsafe. I noticed and overheard a conversation that led me to believe that there was prostitution in the hotel which made me feel uneasy. If it wasn’t noticeable it would not be an issue. However there appeared to be a camera on the 3rd floor. The white Bed Comforter had various burned & melted marks. I returned it & was given another burned comforter receptionist said I’d have to wait for the housekeeping service to replace it because no King Comforter sizes were available, Microwave plate in room does not rotate but microwave does work. Breakfast sausages did not appear browned & cooked. Eggs were cooked but not a good taste coffee & waffles were tasty. Worn out & faded left lower corner of refrigerator cabinet. Cracked ceramic base below window & above air conditioner. Many fadings on the corners of the wood dressers & cabinets.
