TL;DR - dirty, musty, damp room in DIRE need of actual repairs, not the cheap quick fixes present. Unclean bathroom, broken window, dirty furniture, outdated appliances, the list goes on. The ONLY positive experience was the kindness of the staff when encountered. Check-in was easy enough; the woman at the desk was pleasant and kind, and I made note of the sign on the wall behind her - "Michigan's Longest Continuous Hallway". She waived the $50 deposit on the room, but warned me against smoking as their alarms are VERY sensitive. The atmosphere in the room was thick & musty - the carpet, beds, linens, & surfaces were damp from humidity, most likely from either the cracked dual-pane window (discovered later just before check-out) or the overworked and rundown mildew-laden air conditioner. The overall state of the room was shocking - haphazard repairs to the cracked ceiling and partially demo'ed wall were amateurish at best. I've never seen so much hastily painted over spackle in my life, not to mention the strip of barely painted MDF spanning the width of the room on the ceiling, alongside cobwebs & dust. The appliances were filthy and many parts of the room were covered in grime. The office chair was similarly stained and coated in a layer of unknown filth.

The hotel has a stupidly long hallway to the rooms. The rooms and hallway have an incredibly pungent musty odor that's mixed in with cigarette smoke and weed smell. Cards don't work to badge into building on side doors so have to make the miles (exaggerating) long walk in the hallway each time. Loud noises from the adjacent rooms and hallways. Fire alarm goes off for almost an hour in middle of night without explanation. Changing rooms was not helpful in solving any of the aforementioned issues. WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN OR EVER RECOMMEND.

Horrible experience. It looked like and smelled like a hotel from the 60s where pirn was made. I will bet the sheets had not been changed. Mildew smelling, dirty hotel, and the firm alarm went off at 7:15am for 30min thru out the building and no one said anything. Waffle machine with no butter, or eggs, or meat. No breakfast bagels by 7:30am. No reg sugar for coffee at 7:15am Garbages filled at 7:30am. Dusty dirty and did not stay the 3 days. No elevator and had to walk up at least 15 steps with an injured knee cap. Had the testicular fortitude to say since I didn't stay, they was charging the daily price of $138 vs I think the $60. I will dispute the entire bill. Shameful. I took pics too. Of course GM didn't have a name and could not be reached. I will share this in my review.

Breakfast is limited to cereal, small muffins, and self-made waffles. Juices available with a dispenser. Couple days there was no milk for cereal. Internet was spotty on the day I was trying to make a car reservation. Internet kept dropping the connection that prevented me from renting a car after 2.5 hours of trying to get that completed. Average hotel, nothing fancy. Best benefit was the Bobs restaurant behind the hotel. Food is very good and a moderate price. Hotel was okay for the basics-clean room and bathroom. Price was $70 a night.

Without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Even if you’re looking for a quick place to crash by the airport like I was, choose elsewhere. Everything, literally everything, was filthy. The entire hallway smelled like cigarette smoke, holes in carpet, cigarette burns on duvet, spiderwebs and mold in the shower, walls dirty everywhere, sticky curtains and furniture, the list goes on. It felt like you might get a disease just by touching something. A CO detector was chirping somewhere in the hallway or room next door all night long. Stay anywhere else but here!

DO NOT STAY HERE.
Hands down the worst hotel and customer service we've ever had. If you plan to park for the airport, you have to pay for parking daily. There was domestic dispute in the next room and the hotel would not intervene. We had to call the cops ourselves. This went on all night and we got no sleep for the flight the next day. When we tried to call to speak to management about it the next day, the clerk was vile and repeatedly hung up on us.
