We come to the Royal Park every year for our anniversary and we love the ambiance and the town of Rochester. Sadly last year and this year we have been overcharged during our stay. When I talk to a manager about it they are extremely rude. I am not sure we will be back next year due to how I was spoken to today by a manager on the phone. We spend A LOT of money during our stay and to be talked down to is not something I am going to tolerate.

Number one most important feature I look for in a hotel is the comfort of the bed.. if you like HARD beds. This hotel will be good for you. It’s definitely not Westin sleep comfort. This hotel is conveniently located. But starting to show its age The bath room need some up grading Parking is convenient and they don’t charge which is a bonus. Overall. Not bad. But would not stay again do to the beds. Along with the trash trucks banging and clanging outside our room.

Love, love, love this place. My wife refuses to stay anywhere else. Rooms and staff are great, we really enjoy the outdoor patio to have cocktails or nice dinner which overlooks a wooded area and flowing creek.

A lovely hotel walking distance to Main Street in Rochester which has nice shops and restaurants. Only complaint was that the noise from weddings on two consecutive nights kept us awake and woke us up. After calling to complain, they did turn the music down enough to be tolerated but it was still audible, plus parking was hard to find with weddings taking up all the spaces.

Everyone was very helpful. The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing. Chris (one of the valets) deserves a very special shoutout for making our stay extremely comfortable and inviting. We definitely will return.

Gorgeous hotel with Venetian chandeliers, marble floors and other beautiful appointments. Upgraded at checkin when I mentioned it was Our anniversary . Helpful staff. Rooms contain many features including fridge, water, coffee maker etc. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful grounds. Convenient to downtown with shops, bars and restaurants. Nearby trails for running or biking.
