Not a great hotel but just OK level
Not a great hotel but just OK level. Rooms are OK and service is acceptable but priced high in comparison to nearby hotels. Not as claimed as in internet. Also, few days, even though it is peak visiting time in munnar, they haven't offered buffet breakfast due to very less occupancy but they served to room.

Munnar stay.
We really enjoyed the stay. In a beautiful area and the staff was very friendly and able to communicate with us. Had a great buffet for dinner and breakfast which was an excellent way to try so many different Indian dishes.

Enjoyed our stay
We stayed here on our tour of Kerala and Tamilnadu for two days and this hotel fulfilled our expectations. I wish they had elevators as some in the group are seniors and wanted to stay on the third floor but were forced to choose rooms on the grounds floor because of the unavailability of elevators. Check in was good an quick and the rooms clean. Location good, breakfast could be better.

Confusion between Hotels.com and the Hotel
It started with the hotel saying that they had informed Hotels.com that they are not taking any bookings. It was a bad experience. Finally they agreed to give us a room. Being holiday season - Munnar was packed and hotels were over-booked. Overall - once we settled into the room, the hotel is an OK affair - that does not leave either a good or a bad impression.

Nice place but disappointing experience!
We had booked 3 rooms in advance at this hotel for our trip to Munnar. On arrival we found out that they cannot give us the assigned rooms as there was a water leak and 1 hallway was not usable. They offered to give us 1 room and give 2 rooms at another hotel across the street that was not the save quality place. Alternatively they said they could give us 2 rooms and have extra beds in the big room. We took that option. We had only seen the big room first. The second room assigned to us may have been a spare that the hotel staff uses - the interior was different, makeshift place. The bathroom was really a kitchen with black counters and rectangular sink! Water was leaking when we tried to use the hand held shower! When we complained about our experience the next day the person at the checkin desk had a blank look and kept talking about the water leak that caused the issue. He refused to acknowledge that he should be compensate us for the room we did not get, or in kitchen we were assigned to use as a shower! The manager was to come at 11am at at 8:30 in the morning he was offering nothing but some spices! After trying to talk to him to 30mins, a PR person came and helped matters.

A reasonable place to stay if you have no option
Well, it appears the management is not keen to keep up with time. A four or five storey building without lift and I could see many old people struggling to reach the rooms or the dining lounge. The rooms although very clean and spacious, but no A/C or heating facility. Situated about 2 km from the town centre and you always need a car to reach there. Food was just average. Certainly there is place for improvement.

A quiet and central "little haven"
we had a wonderful night there,as the hotel is very quiet. the staf was very attentive and we loved the food. diiner and breakfast were very good and very good value for money.

Great place to stay for family
Stay was great. The hotel manager was very helpful. There was free wifi in lobby. Breakfast buffet was very good. We also enjoyed traditional Kerali massage which was divine!

Great resort!!
I booked this resort for My mother and her friends traveling to Kerala. Their reviews were really good about the view and the location of the resort. Food was good and so were the rooms. The really enjoyed their stay here.

Hotel bruyant aux niveaux 1 et 2
Un accueil peu avenant à la réception. La chambre située au niveau 2 très mal isolée de la route à proximité n'était pas propice au repos et offrait une belle vue sur les toits...la SDB vieillotte avec une vasque fendue ne permettait pas de prendre une douche sans inonder la pièce , il était préférable de laisser le tapis de bain devant la porte La literie était très convenable mais tous les sièges en tissus, tachés comme ceux du restaurant . Ce dernier offrait un choix de plats en majorité veg. et un petit déjeuner globalement satisfaisant. Nous avons du demander à changer de chambre au cours de notre dernière nuit à cause de la présence d'un rat dans la chambre qui nous a réveillés en rongeant une plaquette de médicaments et s'est réfugié sous le lit lorsque je me suis levé pour voir d'où venait le bruit. L'équipe de nuit ne l'ayant pas trouvé j'ai du insister pour qu'on nous change de chambre, le directeur qui avait été réveillé par son équipe pour nous trouver une chambre est venu s'excuser de ce désagrément qui d'après les dires récoltés le lendemain s'était déja produit très récemment, tout comme nous le faisaient penser les bruits des meubles que l'on déménageait dans la chambre au dessus de nous dans l'am. Le lendemain,pour notre départ, aucune mention de cet incident par la réception ni aucun geste commercial. notre avis? > Un Hotel à éviter sur les étages 1 et 2 trop bruyants, surtout si comme nous vous avez la chance d'avoir un soir 3 bus d'ados très bruyants..

Vi er en familie på fire - to voksne, to børn på ti og tolv. Vi boede 5 dage på Tog U. Det er et smukt hotel med gode store værelser og det ligger i fin afstand til Munnar, der er en rigtig hyggelig lille by samtidig med at det ligger lige midt i temarkerne. På hotellet var de meget hjælpsomme med at arrangere ture og give gode råd til aktiviteter. Maden i restauranten var virkelig god. Værelserne var gode og store og rene efter indisk standard. Værelset manglede dog et køleskab, lligesom badeværelset godt kunne have været bedre, større og renere.
