10 days in paradise
This property was simply amazing! Landon was responsive and punctual at check in and out. We stayed here to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary and the home and Costa Rica did not disappoint. We’d come back here in a minute!!!

A dream house with a Million $ View
Villa La Luna exceeded our expectations! The house is gorgeous, clean, and well stocked. All of the living areas open up to a view like you see in pictures! Every bedroom opens to the infinity pool and view of the Pacific. During low tide you can see the famous Whale Tail Beach. We saw capybaras, toucans, iguenas and lots of beautiful exotic birds in the thick beautiful landscape around the house. We had a great time doing 3 activities (out of the many) that Juli recommended. We did the Osa Canopy Zipline (BEAUTiFUL and very fun guides), the Catamaran Snorkeling (Sunset Cruise Comp.- family owned-smaller boat-less crowd-with a+ service and food), Surf Lesson, as well as exploring waterfalls, beaches and national parks. We did a private chef on our last night (Diego & Patrick) and it was Top Notch!-great menu options, flavor, service and presentation-like a 5 star restaurant but under the lights, by the pool of Villa La Luna! We loved everthing about our trip- Thank you Landon & Juli for being the perfect hosts- we'll be back! Pura Vida!

Incredible Home and Outstanding views
I can’t say enough about the property managers, Landon and Juli. They were amazing hosts from beginning to end. The communication was definitely key to this vacation as they helped with planning the fun and an unforeseen incident. I can’t thank them enough. For the house, absolutely stunning. The views were extraordinary. You almost didn’t want to leave the house at all. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the beds were comfortable. We will be back. Thank you for everything.

Dream vacation home!
We loved staying at Villa La Luna. An incredible house with a spectacular view! It has everything you might need for an enjoyable stay and the area is so special. We visited the beach and whale’s tail at low tide, which was very cool. We enjoyed the wonderful birding from the back yard and the kids loved the pool. Having Sibu nearby is a plus as well! Property manager was super helpful and nice. Made everything very easy. We’d love to come back! Thank you so much for a terrific stay!

Relaxing getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. The place was exactly as described. We had some minor issues, but everything was immediately addressed by the house manager. We were greeted upon arrival and communication was great. Be prepared for a rough ride up the mountain to the house definitely should have four-wheel-drive. One thing to note there is no air conditioning in the main part of the house only in the bedrooms.

Owner met us there at check in to explain how everything worked. Very responsive to any questions and concerns. Gorgeous house, scenery, wildlife. We were in the jungle...so I get it that there were bugs (but the tiny ants on the kitchen counter drive me nuts all week!). Definitely need a 4WD to get to the house. Food everywhere we went was phenomenal. Ziplining and horse back riding to the waterfall was a hit for the "kids".

Perfect privacy in the (not rainy) early rainy season
We enjoyed this property! Gorgeous house and view. Everything in it was perfect. Would be great for 3 couples, or a family with kids who will share beds. Hosts had lots of great recommendations. You definitely need a tip top SUV or 4 wheel drive to get to the house. Really glad we stayed here and not in very busy Manuel Antonio. Loved restaurant Scalia nearby, LaParcela (on the beach), and Fuego Brewing. Mama Toucan’s more pricey that Whole Foods - hit a market in one of the larger towns!

Great stay at an AMAZING property!
I booked this property for clients, a multigenerational family of five. They absolutely loved everything about the Villa and the location. The owner was incredible to work with and the staff for meals, cleaning and spa treatments were outstanding. There are only positives to say about this experience.

Villa la Luna is a true paradise! The view is breathtaking; the house is clean, spacious and well equipped; and the location is central to activities, restaurants, and beaches in the area. We loved our time in Costa Rica and would absolutely stay at Villa la Luna again!

Amazing villa
Perfect private retreat atop Dominical. Loved our stay and couldn’t get enough of the views. Even though we went at the end of rainy season (and it rained at some point every day) it didn’t affect our trip or activities at all. Landon and Juli were great hosts and helped arrange activities, massage, etc. Pro tip: A 4x4 vehicle is a MUST have (not nice to have) as the property is high up on the mountains and Costa Rican roads are not paved.

Perfection!
This is our 7th trip to Dominical and 2nd time renting this house. Pictures/descriptions don't do this property justice! It is perfection! Perfect location and everything you could possibly need on hand. The entire property is very clean and very well taken care of. Out of all the houses we have rented over the years this is our favorite! Landon was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was perfect! He is extremely knowledgeable about the property and area in general. If we needed anything he responded immediately! We will definitely be renting this house from him again in the future!

Amazing 5* property with incredible views
The villa either met or exceeded all of our expectations (and our expectations were high!). Starting with the excellent meet and greet from Landon the property manager - who walked us through all aspects of the property. The villa was immaculately turned out with the highest standard throughout. The three en suite rooms all had amazing views, wardrobe space, AC, etc. The kitchen / diner was state of the art with vaulted ceilings. The highlight for us however, was the outside setup - pool, garden, outside kitchen and relaxation space. This villa is not the cheapest - but we feel it was worth every penny. It gave us a chance to relax midway through a hectic holiday schedule (the washer / dryer was used to get us back to a less disheveled state!). We will not hesitate to book again.

Perfection in paradise
This house is as gorgeous as the photos and the views are even better. Very spacious. Nice bedding, towels, pool towels. There were 6 of us: 3 generations. The master is amazing. My two teenage boys shared the other king suite, but utilized the trundle bed so they could have their own beds. The road is steep, like all the roads to achieve this view. You need 4x4. This home is a 3.5-4 hour drive from San Jose so plan for that. Landon was fantastic and very responsive. Take advantage of ordering the baskets of food on arrival, it was perfect. Juli is awesome for booking excursions. We did zip lining and canyoning and I would recommend both! Thanks for sharing this incredible piece of paradise with us. It was so hard to leave!

I want to buy this house. It is amazing. The view is undescribable. I love the floorplan, location, pool...everything about it. Three beautiful beaches are a 10-20 minute drive from the house. It's just perfect. I was sad that we had to leave. Would def rent again.

Christmas in Costa Rica
The views from the house are absolutely amazing. Landon, property manager, was extremely responsive. We was prompt to answer all of our questions prior and during our trip. They were even able to arrange for basket of grocery items for our arrival and connect us with vendors for excursions. 4WD highly recommend and necessary. Dine at Scala Restaurant, half way up the mountain to the house...Delicious and fantastic cocktails. Loved our stay. Pura Vida!

Amazing property
We had the family up to enjoy Thanksgiving and it was a great time. Landon helped us out and was very helpful. We got a couple of baskets from Landon, from Mama Toucans, and they were great to have to start the trip. The birds were plentiful and if you get up early enough you can hear the Howler Monkeys calling in the trees.

Go for it!
Landon & Juli made my 22nd birthday trip seamless. From booking to excursions to Q&As. I was a little scared planning a trip this big but with their help I was never left clueless. The house looks just like the pictures, and you can’t beat the views. We were a group of 8 who slept comfortably. The house has an alarm system which made us feel extra safe considering we were all girls. Juli also found us a driver, Jonny, who was with us the entire trip and was absolutely amazing to us! I wouldn’t think twice booking with you guys again!

Heaven under the sky!
We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Location is beautiful and very convenient, close to the beaches and restaurants. The villa's design give you the opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous view from every single room, the beautiful landscape , infinity pool and the Pacifica. Astonishing view!The concierge Joli and Landon are very nice and extremely helpful. We had an amazing stay at Villa La Luna. Looking forward to go back again!!!

Amazing Home Near Dominical
The house and location was simply fantastic. Located high up Escelares mountain, this beautiful home offered one of the best views I’ve personally ever seen. The home has everything you need to have an amazing vacation. We loved all of the flora and fauna present on the property. Daily we had toucans in the trees and a host of other birds. We saw Blue Morpho butterflies on multiple occasions and heard lots of monkeys nearby. There are a few excellent dining opportunities close by on the mountain including Bar Jolly Rogers (fantastic wings and burgers) and Scala for dinner. Sibu Cafe is perfect for breakfast or lunch as well. There is a small market nearby as well. All within 5-7 minutes from the house. We will be back as soon as we can.
